On the lookout for authentic Italian cuisine? Look no further! Today I’ll be talking about my visit to the well-known “Eataly” Restaurant/Cafe and what it has to offer. This place is a whole lot different from other restaurants or cafes that I’ve been to, they go by the “You can buy what you eat” rule and that’s very intriguing to say the least. Whatever’s on the menu or on display, you can buy the ingredients for it and make it yourself at home. Bonus points for all the people trying to learn cooking at home! And they have a variety of different things to choose from. Pizzas, Chicken and Meat dishes, Italian Chocolate, Different types of honey and aged cheese! I’m pretty sure I’m missing a lot of things here but there was so much there I can’t possibly fit it all here in one review! Let me know if you took anything home and how was your experience!
Since we were on the hunt for italian cuisine and wanted the real deal, what better way to test it out than the Classic Margherita Pizza? And spoiler alert- we loved it! The crust was crispy and baked almost perfectly, the cheese and the sauce were excellent as well, perfect amounts of it all. Nothing was too overpowering enough to destroy the other flavours. I’ll say this though, they baked the basil leaves with the pizza, which is usually placed on the pizza after it’s been baked, in my experience at least. that did throw me off a bit cause I couldnt really taste the basil that much cause most of it just got cooked. For our drinks we had the Strawberry Mojito and Minted Lemonade, and as far as drinks go, these were quite refreshing! The service was really good and the staff was very friendly.

Read moreItalian cuisine is one of my favourite cuisines. Over the weekend, i visited @eatalyarabia to try out their newly launched Truffle Menu. Eataly is a world reknown Italian Restaurant and Shop. This was my first time visiting Eataly and i was elated!
On entering, I was greeted by their wonderful shop, which was exquisitely decorated with Pumpkins and Autumn Leaves, keeping with the Spooky Season and Fall theme! The shop was HUGE, it had different kinds of breads, cheeses and much much more. We were seated with the other wonderful bloggers who were there. The tables were cutely decorated and had more of a rustic theme.
I tried out many of their dishes, all topped with truffle: ● Rucola e Funghi, 79 SAR ● Crocchette di Patate, 79 SAR ● Pizza Tartufina, 149 SAR ● Tagliolino Classico, 139 SAR ● Gnocchi di Zucca e Salsiccia, 139 SAR ● Risotto Calfiori e Porcini, 149 SAR ● Brasato di Manzo, 179 SAR ● Fresh Orange Juice, 25 SAR ● Strawberry Mojito, 44 SAR

Read moreWe were invited to try out @eatalyarabia iftar buffet tonight and I must say, I was genuinely surprised. ~
It was the first time they started their iftar buffet in these 3 years. The place was full but the crowd was very nicely managed by the staff. The food was delicious, If you’re a fan of Italian food, you’re going to love their buffet. They have a wide range of salads, main courses, desserts. They prepare everything fresh and in front of you, live cooking. The menu includes tenderloin steak with lemon butter sauce and mushroom sauce (extremely good and juicy), different kinds of pastas, pizzas, pollo cacciatore (chicken in tomato sauce with cream), seafood broth, mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, soups, baked chicken, saffron rice and few things more. • • Everything was fresh and tasted amazing! For desserts, they have such a great menu. Their famous and authentic tiramisu, dark chocolate mousse (SO good), strawberry cheesecake, apricot pie, strawberry pie and few items more. All the deserts were delicious. • • Buffet price also included American coffee, for other types of coffee, you need to pay. Fresh mint lemonade is served during iftar alongside water. 🛑 Price for buffet: 125sr per person. (Totally worth it). ~ • • •
