As a brand that positions itself as a higher-quality shopping destination, the lack of sustainable practices is not only embarrassing - it’s a disaster! This excessive plastic usage goes against global efforts toward environmental responsibility and considering that a local game-changing Saudi company like OVA Pack exists right in your “hood,” it’s almost evil not to take advantage of such a strong, established solution. On a positive note, the parking situation has recently improved - apparently after many complaints - but other basics like the condition of the in-store trolleys remain far below standard, sticky and neglected, they cheapen the experience. And that’s a shame, because the product selection is genuinely great and the staff clearly puts in real effort. With the right leadership and a true commitment to sustainability, Tamimi could become a crown jewel in the Kingdom’s retail landscape - a leader in both quality and eco-conscious values. I reviewed this branch 6 years ago and gave it a 5-star rating, but I need to update my review because of an accident that happened to me last night and I feel that I or anyone else is not safe to shop here unless they routinely do a regular floor cleaning for safety of the shoppers.

Last night, I slipped into a smashed orange that’s been lying on the floor, and my knee was badly hit onto the floor. All because no one cared to clean the mess around the vegetable/fruit area at that time. The staff in that area had an unsympathetic look and spoke to themselves when I told them to clean it before anyone else could be hurt by slipping with so many scattered leaves and other residues there. I reached out to the manager and told him the accident. He was sorry and I felt it genuinely, and told me that they would check and clean the area. I hope they will regularly do it to avoid accidents like what happened to me.
