Read moreI visited this restaurant over the weekend with positive hopes, even though I had a terrible experience two years ago. Unfortunately, nothing has improved.
The buffet was extremely limited, lacking both freshness and taste. The kebabs and mutton chops were dry, cold, and completely tasteless. The mutton chops were almost entirely bone—we literally had to dig around just to find any meat.
When we brought this to the management’s attention, their response was shockingly indifferent. They acted like they were doing us a favor by serving food, saying, “Buffets are like this only—à la carte will be hot.” This is unacceptable, especially when customers are paying full price.
The fried rice tasted like leftover rice from the previous day, quickly tossed with some masalas. The Kalyani biryani was dry and artificially colored, while the mutton curry had a strong, unpleasant smell. The only dish worth eating was the Amritsari daal with plain rice. Everything else was forgettable at best.
The spaghetti had a weird greenish odor, and the so-called “roastery” chicken tikka pieces were cold, rubbery, and tasteless. Chutneys were unnecessarily over-colored, and the dessert section was a joke. Gulab jamun was cracked and hard (probably due to too much soda), and other desserts offered were jelly cubes and suji ka halwa. Who pays for a buffet to eat jelly cubes & suji ka halwa?
In short: the buffet was a complete disaster and ruined my entire weekend. The food was subpar, and the management’s attitude made things worse. They should either fix the buffet or stop serving it altogether.
