Golden Dragon — Restaurant in Municipality of Olaya

Really very nice place. I went there with my colleagues and friends and we had someone vegetarian with us with us. we ordered lot of things like soup with Bean curd, vegetable spring roll, chicken with mushroom and bamboo shoot, Jumbo prawn grilled, steamed sea bass in spices and stir fried noodles.

The fish was excellent and it was huge. we were three people and it was very difficult for us to finish the dish. the spices were very tasty and full of flavours. the fish was fresh and well steamed. The soup with Bean curd was really very nice. this was the first time I was having bean curd and I really liked it. also I was having bamboo shoot for the first time. in fact I ordered the dish just to taste the bamboo shoot and I really liked it. it has a different kind of flavour. I don't know if it is added separately or its own flavour it is. The chicken was also very juicy and tasty. the jumbo prawn grilled was kind of ordinary food. it was not very special. The prawns were nice, the grill was nice, but still it lacked flavour and taste. We also like the noodles.

We wanted to try some desserts as well but they were running short of it so we could not order any dessert. however our overall experience really stand very well and the ambiance of the place was very nice, very well decorated. wereally liked it and I wish we will go again and again in the same place to have more different dishes they have. The Golden Dragon Chinese restaurant in Moussa center, Ollaya deserves all stars and hats off.

I will tell u why?

Starting from the location, which is difficult to find the first time (visit). It is housed on second floor within the shopping mall and there are no signs outside.

There is ample parking at the back entrance of the mall and easy access to the restaurant.

As we (me and my family with 3 children) visited the restaurant and found it very neat, clean and well maintained.

The staff welcomed us and sat us on one of the round tables for dinner @1915 (7:15pm) and the restaurant was empty.

My children enjoyed there as I mentioned it was empty and they had a big screen with candid camera (GAGS) on, which was fun for all ages.

Since this was our first visit, we took attendant’s recommendation and picked the following. Chicken sizzling Fish sizzling

In addition, we added the following to the order, which was recommended by other visitors. Chicken corn soup Hot and sour soup Mixed fried rice Saudi champagne

All of the food was amazing, only just that the gravy of Hot and sour soup could have been thicker.

We enjoyed our dinner and first ever visit to the restaurant, which reminded us of another great restaurant “China Hut” in Jeddah.

Well done Golden Dragon, the whole team from cool to the server were all best and the delivery was fast and delicious.

Since my arrival in the Kingdom about 11 years ago, the very first Restaurant that I devoured to is GOLDEN DRAGON and up to this date, still my number ONE restaurant in town. I am really impressed when it comes to their wide selection of Authentic Chinese food, the taste is Consistent even up to now or shall I say even more tastier and yummier as time goes by. Also, another best thing in Gold Dragon is their equally-energetic and friendly waiters - one of the reasons why me and my family is hooked with GD is because their Staff is very welcoming and very hospitable, their service is very personalized and very professional team. It’s like Kitchen away from Kitchen where we are really so at Home. Shout out to Joel Dizon, he is the man!!!! He always make sure that we are Okay and we are Satisfied every time we dine in weather small or big dinners that me and my family holds, he does the magic of making our gathering such a memorable one.
