Shocking expensive hotel!
1- To start, we booked a room for 3 adults (meaning we payed the extra bed while booking) however the hotel gave us a room with two single beds and they insisted to charge us an additional small bed after many minutes of argument, their only explanation was “ the system allows you to book one room for 7 persons but you will have 2 single beds!”
2- we have been informed at the reception during the check in that the hotel is doing some big construction works so basically you cannot relax or work day time in the hotel
3- They gave us a smoking room or better to say smoking floor , corridors, etc… without even asking us- really terrible strong smell!
4- Room are too old and badly maintained: huge water leak while you’re showering, water everywhere, dirty curtains, very dirty carpet , you cannot even plug the water boiler in the electrical socket (different type of socket) and they don’t have a connector/converter
5- We asked for a third towel at 8:00pm for the third person (after having payed the additional bed) and the response was “ no towel before until 9:00am the day after , we have to wait for the delivery! “ This is not a joke!
6- Dirty water boiler, you will have a big limestone in your coffee ! So don’t try it !
7- no cleaning the second day , we had to ask them when we came back at 7:00pm to clean it
A last point and there is many other that I didn’t mention, you receive a shoe sponge box in the toilet package written in English “shoe sponge” but if you speak only Arabic, you will read on it in Arabic “body shower sponge” !
Of course I am not excepting any action from the hotel following my review , this review is done only for the customers who wants to visit Riyadh and enjoy the stay in a...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel during the Eid vacation, a time that should have been marked by relaxation and quality service, especially given that it was a public holiday. Instead, my experience was frustrating from start to finish due to the hotel’s incompetence and complete disregard for guest comfort.
At night, I requested a mattress, only to be told they had none available—an absurd failure for a supposedly well-equipped hotel, especially during a peak holiday period when they should be fully prepared for guests’ needs. When I asked for a blanket instead, I was repeatedly given the same empty response: “We will check and call you back.” Hours later, they finally called, but by that point, the lack of prompt service had already left a terrible impression.
To make matters worse, as I write this review, I am enduring deafening construction noise starting at 7 AM—on Eid morning, no less. The noise is so overwhelming that I can’t even hear my own family speak. When we complained, the hotel once again resorted to its usual empty promises: “We will check and call you back.” As expected, nothing was done.
Failing to provide basic amenities is bad enough, but failing to ensure a comfortable stay during a major public holiday is simply unacceptable. This hotel’s negligence and lack of professionalism make it one of the worst hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. I strongly advise against staying here unless you enjoy sleepless nights, unresponsive service, and management that...
