My wife and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Globe Restaurant in the Al Faisaliah Hotel, Riyadh, and it was an evening that exceeded our expectations in every way.

Opting for the six-course tasting menu with expertly curated drink pairings, we embarked on a culinary journey that took us far beyond our usual preferences. Each course was a delightful surprise, offering a symphony of flavors and textures that we might never have experienced had we stuck to our typical choices. It was a true gastronomic adventure, and every dish left us eager for the next.

The ambiance was equally remarkable. The panoramic view of Riyadh at night is nothing short of breathtaking, with the city lights twinkling beneath the striking, contemporary architecture of the Al Faisaliah Tower. The setting alone is worth the visit, as it provides a unique and stunning backdrop to an unforgettable meal.

The service was impeccable, with every member of the staff going above and beyond to ensure our evening was both memorable and magical. Our server, Rameez, stood out for his charm and deep knowledge of the menu. His passion for the food was evident as he meticulously described each dish and guided us through our choices with ease and enthusiasm.

After dinner, we ventured upstairs to the smoking area, where guests can purchase and enjoy fine cigars. While my wife isn’t fond of cigar smoke, I couldn’t resist indulging in a Cuban cigar. Reclining in the luxurious leather chairs, I savored every moment, from the rich, aromatic smoke to the sweeping views of the city. It was the perfect way to cap off an exceptional meal, and for a brief moment, I felt like royalty.

In summary, The Globe offers a dining experience that is both refined and adventurous, set against one of the most spectacular views in Riyadh. From the exquisite cuisine to the outstanding service, every detail contributed to an evening that we will cherish for years to come. Highly recommended for any special occasion—or simply for those who appreciate the finer...

A Culinary Masterpiece – An Unforgettable Experience

From the moment we stepped into this restaurant, we knew we were in for something special. The ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect stage for what would turn out to be an extraordinary dining experience.

For starters, we had the creamy chicken soup—simple yet absolutely divine. Every spoonful was rich, velvety, and packed with flavor, a perfect way to begin our meal. Then came the Wagyu steak—oh, where do I even start? Hands down, the best steak I have ever had! I ordered it medium-rare, and it was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The accompanying sauce and mashed potatoes were nothing short of exceptional, adding a perfect balance to the dish. Every single bite was pure bliss.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, dessert arrived—a chocolate cherry cake. And let me tell you, as a true chocolate lover, this was heaven on a plate. The rich chocolate paired beautifully with the slight tartness of the cherries, making it utterly irresistible.

To top it all off, the drinks were crafted to perfection, complementing each course flawlessly. But what truly made this experience unforgettable was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was just right. A huge hats off to Chef Mathew—his creativity and expertise shone through in every dish.

As if the food and service weren’t enough, we were seated at a table with the most stunning view, making the entire experience even more memorable. This wasn’t just a meal; it was a culinary journey—one that I’ll be reminiscing about for a long time.

Highly, highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional...

We celebrated our 4th anniversary by going for a Hi-Tea at the Globe @alfaisaliahhotel. It was a surprise for me and I was amazed to see this gorgeous place. The Hi tea takes place at the globe sitauated in the faisliah hotel at the top most section of the building. We reached there near 4pm and was greated and accomodated very nicely. After passing through security check the elevator takes you to the main floor, The globe. It was an Hi Tea buffet with tons of dessert options, the hot items were very less though. Once we were seated on our table, we were served with the hot food items which included spring rolls, falafel, cold mezze and some breads assorted. The desserts however, were in a great quantity from cheesecake to macaroons. They had a dedicated kids buffet area too. The enviroment was really nice and romantic with some really cool english songs being played in the background. The best part was the sunset. It was the most magical sunset ever. At the end, we were served with coffee. You can order tea too. They have juices too but they are not included in the Hi Tea package. The timing was from 3-6 and the cost per head is 195 sr + tax. Children under 6 eat for free. We got to enjoy "The Experience" too for free since we booked a Hi tea with them. You've got to make a booking in advance. We had a great time and it's definitely worth a visit. 🤩🤩 • • #riyadh #riyadhbloggers #foodies #instagood #fòodporn #alfaisilahhotel #theglobe #mydubai #kingdomtower #dubaumall #dubailifestyle #lifestyleblogger #karachieat #foodies #foodphotography #karachi #saudiarabia #saudigirls #karachiites #pakistani #pakistanistreetstyle #riyadhfashion #kingdomtower #likeforlikes #followforfollowback...

The High Tea at the Globe This was the first time we've ever been to The Globe. I must say, it was quite an experience to the senses. We had the high tea as a group, from 3 to 6 pm. The food was great; it was delicious and satisfying, especially the tuna poké with rice (served in a coconut shell!), the kibbeh and the endless choices of sweets to accompany your tea and/or coffee. Plus, the presentation was impeccable; all the little sweets and confectioneries were pleasing to the eyes. We had a kid with us and he enjoyed the sweets so much, it was the first time we've seen him eat with gusto. The view from up there was amazing. At the top of Faisaliyah Tower, you can see quite the expanse of Riyadh. I’ve seen some familiar landmarks: the Kingdom Tower, Panorama Mall, Olaya Park, and a few other places which names escape my mind at the moment. After we’ve eaten, we sampled their coffee and tea. I had a cappuccino and a TWG English Breakfast Tea. Both were excellent but I have to say, I'm a bit partial to the tea. It was the finest I’ve ever had. All of these, plus the prompt and excellent service, add up to quite a marvellous experience, one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to other people. Bring your friends and family; you won’t regret it. PS: If you’re a smoker, there’s an upstairs lounge where, for an additional fee, you can smoke a cigar and enjoy a non-alcoholic drink.
