I recently had the pleasure of dining at Parker's Restaurant in Riyadh, and I must say that it was a memorable experience. Located in the heart of the city, Parker's is a sophisticated and elegant establishment known for its delectable cuisine and impeccable service.

I went there at 12 in the afternoon for a late breakfast, i was seated quickly, but I was not presented with a menu nor was I presented with any utensils after being fed up with not having a menu I opened their Instagram to see what they had to offer. I ordered an eggs Benedict and a croffle with jam and an iced flat white and fries, the eggs Benedict was fine nothing special, but the croffle was really delicious It took about 30 to 40 minutes to get my food even though the waiter said 20 minutes I made two changes; I wanted the eggs poached and my flat white iced of course when it arrived the changes were not made and I was disappointed, but nonetheless, I ate and enjoyed my food and then I had to ask for utensils after i was waiting 10 minutes (note.I never got my fries).

when I asked for the bill, I had to wait another 10 minutes, after I paid i Coincidentally saw that they had added two other items that I had not ordered and for them to fix the mistake. They took around 40 to 50 minutes and it was completely obvious that they didn’t want to fix what they had done wrong and just wanted me to leave because every time I kept asking about the extra money they took. They paid me no mind and only when I had persistently asked about it they said that they did not have any change and offered me a Matilda cake which I denied and said that I wanted my money back, that took another 20 minutes to get fixed, and what was weird is that they had presented me with more money than what they took of extra charge and they said that it was OK just take it which I had refused because I only wanted what they took extra from me.

To be completely frank with this review. The food is good. It’s fine. The prices are well priced but the service is completely rubbish. If you do not have the capacity of servers to maintain the same capacity of customers then you shouldn’t accept so many customers at once and the fact that I had to wait over an hour and half just to fix a mistake they had made is absolutely ridiculous, and i am extremely disappointed with the experience that I had with Parker’s, this is not how a restaurant should operate nor treat...

Well. I’m posting this review for improvement purposes. I’ve always loved Parker’s and always a big fan. Ramadan vibes are great but the restaurant is not ready to host a full house dining at the same time for Iftar. We chose our main course at Iftar time ( 6 pm) and although people ate their full meal and left the restaurant we couldn’t get our main courses until 8pm. We had to call the manager, the receptionist was covering his place and she did amazing. However, the only solution was for her to keep fixing the service for all the upset tables.

Food can be delayed a bit but 2 hrs for a partially set menu is a disgrace and not acceptable. Food was delicious but honestly we were too upset and mad to eat any of it. I’m mostly disappointed that the great vibes were ruined by a disgraceful service. We kept asking for Saudi coffee at least until our delayed meal comes and couldn’t even get that.

After receiving the food (2hrs after ordering), they took our plates and utensils to clean the table and didn’t get us anything to eat with. For another 15 mins until the manager herself got us something to use. Food was cold by then.

It was my worst iftar experience. Kindly accept only half capacity for iftar to keep the customer experience good as the kitchen and waiters can’t handle a full house. The food is absolutely delicious but with this service it’s not enjoyable. As a customer I felt that because it was prepaid the restaurant didn’t care much and I had to wait for food just because I already paid. Although we were too upset to eat any of it.

Do better, because Parker’s name deserves way better than this.
