My family and I had lunch on March 1st 2024 at around 4 PM. It is a nice place if you want to eat Saudi cuisine that is presented in a different way. The food was nice and our waitress was helpful. However, they advertise themselves as one of the few Saudi cuisines with a “high-end/fine dining” experience. DO NOT EXPECT a “fine dining experience” for the following reasons:-

1- Communication:- We did not have a reservation. I asked the host if they will be able to accommodate a table for a party of four but he unfortunately responded in a condescending way “have you been here before?” I responded by “no!” Then he replied “look at the menu before I get you seated”. I told him my family and I have an idea about menu. He then replied “it is a 100 SAR minimum charge per person, so you will pay a minimum charge of 400 SAR, are you ok with that?”. He made me feel that we were not good enough to dine at their restaurant. I sucked up all of my negative emotions because I wanted to have a good time with my family. I wanted to report him to restaurant management later, but he did not have a name tag on.

2- Atmospheres and decor:- The decor is basic and definitely doesn’t meet the minimum standards of a high-end restaurant. The rest room was dirty. They don’t pay attention to details. For example, our table was wobbly and one of the chairs in our table looked different from the other three chairs. Also, our table did not have olive oil like the rest of the tables.

3-They service was rushed:- They prioritize table turnover over the customers satisfaction. A thing a “high-end” restaurant...

Tonight had the pleasure of dining at TAKYA Riyadh restaurant, and it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. Our iftar meal was nothing short of exceptional, showcasing a delightful fusion of Saudi cuisine that tantalized the taste buds and left a lasting impression.

Chef Irshad and Ibrahim and their culinary team deserve immense praise for their creativity and skill in crafting such delectable dishes. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors, perfectly marrying traditional Saudi ingredients with innovative techniques.

Moreover, I must commend Ajay, the operations manager, for his impeccable attention to detail and dedication to ensuring a seamless dining experience. His leadership undoubtedly contributes to the restaurant's success and the satisfaction of its patrons.

Additionally, our server Mark provided top-notch service, attending to our needs with grace and efficiency. Their friendly demeanor and knowledge of the menu added to the overall enjoyment of our meal.
