Caliente Dakar is a fantastic spot for anyone craving great food and a lively, welcoming atmosphere. We tried the burrito and tacos—both were delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The margarita cocktail was top quality, perfectly balanced and refreshing. What really made the evening special was the ambiance. The staff were incredibly friendly—some of the nicest we’ve encountered—and made us feel right at home. While we were there, a talented female singer with a guitar performed live, adding a soulful, intimate touch to the evening that we absolutely loved. The service was great but the food was probably the worst mexican food I've ever tasted. I wasted so much money because I ended up giving the food to beggars on the street after trying to choke it down. It was very very bland. There was no seasoning at all although I ordered rice with cilantro and lime I tasted none of it and they forgot my salsa for the burritos after the waiter came back and asked me which salsa I wanted. I should have just waited and made my burrito at home. The reviews are definitely confusing because the reviews are so good but I would never put this food in my mouth again. We stopped by this restaurant and were completely blown away. The food was honestly better than most Mexican spots we’ve tried in the U.S. The views were absolutely beautiful, and the afternoon vibe was calm and relaxed, but still had a great energy. Service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. Definitely a new favorite! we’ll be back for...
