Siki Rio — Restaurant in Saint-Louis

New stay in March in this great place; four nights. The hotel has expanded! It has now 12 more rooms in a beautiful patio connected with the front part of the original hotel. Excellent undertaken. As good as our previous experience. Now I am a full fan of this place. Will continue coming here anytime I can. This stay’s recommendation: arroz caldoso, delicious!

Four night stay over Christmas holidays with all the family (two double beds). The place is a gem in the island and you will never want to leave it when you’re there. I could have stayed for months...! The rooms are beautifully decorated avoiding superfluous luxuries. The patio is peaceful and refreshing. The living room in the top is one of the most amazing places to stay all day long. The restaurant is delicious; try black rice, or huevos fritos con chistorra; octopus is delicious too, the lotte with curry also a great choice. Première expérience mitigée: service très agréable mais obligé d'attendre pour commander "car la cuisine est débordée" alors qu'on avait réservé. Il aurait fallu nous dire de venir plus tard... Nourriture très bonne sauf le carpaccio de poisson qui nage littéralement dans l'eau

Deuxième expérience tentée avec beaucoup d'envie vu la satisfaction culinaire de la première (hors carpaccio) : malheureusement elle fut scandaleuse. Le service et la nourriture étaient au rendez-vous jusqu'au moment où on a découvert un morceau de fil de fer de 1 cm (style boule à récurer) dans le hamburger... Excuse minimum du serveur. On ne fait pas scandale mais en même temps on aurait apprécié un peu plus d'attention vu la dangerosité du problème. Vu qu'on ne mange pas le hamburger, le serveur propose alors un dessert offert. Au final addition avec hamburger compris, et lorsqu'on fait la remarque addition sans hamburger mais avec le dessert ajouté... Bref, grosse déception devant autant d'irresponsabilité et de...
