We were truly disappointed with our experience at L'Escale Lounge & Restaurant. While the setting is beautiful and the staff seemed attentive at first, the service was extremely slow — we waited nearly 30 minutes between each course, which really affected the overall dining experience.
Although the waitresses asked how we wanted our meat cooked, it seemed like the kitchen didn’t follow through, as the doneness of the dishes was not what we had requested. That kind of disconnect is frustrating, especially in a place that aims to present itself as high-end.
The food itself was decent and tasted fine, but nothing stood out — and it definitely did not live up to the standards one would expect from a restaurant inside a luxury resort. Given the reputation of the hotel, we expected much more in terms of quality, consistency, and attention to detail.

The fixed price for brunch was more than 100$ per person what is quite high even for Seychelles. It would be more reasonable if a glass of prosecco or a cocktail was included but it was not. Service was very bad: nobody was even looking at us we had to collected dirty dishes after main course ourselves and moved them to the empty tables, when we asked for clean forks and spoons for desserts the waiter told me that we have forks on our table. At that point I felt desperate to explain her that we used them and we need clean ones... So I just took clean forks from the next table. You feel like you always have to demand proper service and waiters just are ignoring you and make you feel like you are asking for something...

It was for breakfast; They got our order wrong. The order came without Broiche Bread which was stated on the menu. They then brought it but it looked like burnt burger buns (literally). The food then went cold and they didn’t do anything to fix it so we rejected it and left.
We refused to eat there based on the poor and careless service, and the food quality being so low.
They even took 10-15 mins to bring the bill (for drinks only) even though the restaurant was empty.
