Baobab Pizzeria — Restaurant in Mahé

The best pizza i had till now. Wish i can find such delicious pizazz in india as well.

Food : Pineapple- Yes Please !!! Most mouth watering Hawaiian pizza i had till date . The soft , light and crispy base with bubbly cheese spread across with different assortments baked in fire brick oven. There Margherita pizza was also best i had till now. They have limited menu but have all over every kind of pizza lover.

They serve side dishes as well and have pasta menu as well. They have half serve option for the people with less appetite as well.

Location : Its a hidden gem at Mare Anglaise beach . Nicely build over the beach with natural shade. Chairs and table are comfy and well build over white sand. If you are walking on road its hidden on the corner to the left to western money transfer but if you are on beach you can see it clearly.

Ambiance: Comfy and welcoming, natural shade by big tree gives a beautiful ambiance in morning and in night the glittering ocean by moon light makes it more cozy and relaxing.

People are nice and welcoming. Helpful and courteous as well.

Conclusion: Best pizza , under budget eatery, limited menu but have everything for different people .

P.S. Best place for vegetarians how have difficult time in Seychelles with local and Sea food...

This pizza place is right on the beach. Tables and chairs are made out of stone, so there is no way to move them around, therefore maximum of 6 people at any table.

The place gets very crowded around dinner time, around 8:00 pm. Be prepared to wait.

It's a basic pizza place with several pizzas on the menue, however, we found it very hard to remove or add toppings on any pizza on the menue.

The menue accomodates most everyone, including kids. There's pasta, pizza and salads. The pizza was a little bit greasy, but kids liked it anyway. Beer, wine and soft drinks are available in addition to some fresh juices.

Service was a little slow, they forgot my pizza and we had to wait for an extra 15 minutes for it to come. We were rushed away from the restaurant because there was a long line of people waiting to be seated. We were literally asked to go pay at the counter because they needed to prepare the table for the next guests.

I would only recommend this place to couples without children or people who want to have a really quick byte. Or if you can make it before sunset, the place does have a nice view of the sunset and it shouldn't be crowded at that time.

Went to spend some time with my in-laws in this place this evening, the restaurant was not full as we came at 6:07 pm. Me and my baby seated at a table waiting for the others to come and I took another table with single chairs for my in-laws as my mother in law has a reduced mobility. A waitress came and asked us to move to one table even though where we were seated was not reserved. Then I told that my mother in law needed that single seat because of her condition, that waitress started to be rude and somehow moved us to another table. When the whole family came we really needed to move as that table was not convenient at all for all of us to sit especially for my baby and for my mother in law but that same waitress came again behind us and started to talk to us in a very condescending tone and pointing with her fingers (so impolite) forcing us to go back to the table where she wanted us to sit. As a customer we should be able to choose where to sit unless the table is reserved which was not the case here and we came to pay for the service and food. Who does she think she is?
