Pro: The buffet is good though expensive, but only red snapper and tuna, which were both ok but some more fish I would’ve expected for a local dinner.

Cons: Price bc we (2 pax) left over 100€ for buffet and 3 (soft)drinks :(

What was the most disappointing thing is the service. We ordered a caramel crunch milkshake but got a vanilla one (which was a problem because we hate vanilla). When we told the crew they said it’s definitely caramel because they don’t have vanilla milkshakes. We got the bill and on the bill there was a vanilla milkshake for nearly 10€. I asked them how come that there’s a vanilla milkshake if they pretended they have none - they lied to me. Since they didn’t take it back I told them to try and two of the employees tried it and pretended it is caramel crunch, which was again lying in my face and thinking I’m an idiot. There was no caramel and no crunch. Just milk an vanilla. That’s what the bill said as well lol.

I recommend to be honest, there’s kind of karma in the world.

Can I give this place more than 5 stars in any or all of the above categories? Without a doubt the most amazing place we found in Seychelles. You can have fun on the beaches of Beau Vallon and Bel Ombre, or the nature trails of the lush green Morne Seychellios National Park, snorkeling and diving and the amazing coral reefs in St. Anne’s Marine Park……but when you’re all done, there’s simply just one place to go at the end of your day to unwind. The Boathouse. It is charming and gives you a perfect feel of the island. Enjoy the your sundowners with the sunset and indulge in some of the best fish and Creole food on the island. Richard Mancien, a perfect gentleman, kind and generous, owns the place and makes it a point to meet his guests. A perfect host in a perfect place with perfect food on a perfect island. Try the fish and chips and ask for the breadfruit chips.

We recently enjoyed a brilliant buffet dinner at this seaside restaurant, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The variety of dishes was impressive, offering something for everyone, and every item we tried was full of flavor. Even the desserts were exceptional, rounding off the meal perfectly.
