I’m absolutely furious. I paid a small fortune to eat at Trader Vic’s Seychelles – expecting at least decent quality food – and what did I get? A violent, pray-to-survive level food poisoning episode. I had a cocktail (okay-ish) and some dumplings in an aggressively spicy chilli sauce. The dumplings tasted good, but clearly something was off. Within hours I was throwing up and leaking from the other end like a broken tap. Eight hours (!!!) of pure hell. This is not an isolated case either – I also ate at the Story Seychelles restaurant earlier this week and had the same nightmare. Something is seriously wrong with their kitchen hygiene. Meanwhile, I had a fantastic, fresh, delicious, and super cheap meal at a local spot near the casino – no issues at all. Moral of the story: skip the overpriced resort food, go where the locals eat. Your stomach (and wallet) will thank you.

Had a wonderful evening. Started off a little rocky as we had booked a table through the main reception of the hotel, but the host said she couldn't find a booking. We were still welcomed and accommodated, we had our choice of table in the end. There seemed to be a salsa night on which was brilliant to watch, all of the dancers were incredible and mesmerising to watch. We had a selection of beautiful cocktails, our favourites being the Seyhorse and the Passion Mai Tai. For starters we ordered the duck potsticklers to share followed by pork spare ribs and chicken passion for mains. Everything was cooked to perfection and we couldn't fault a single thing. All of the servers were very nice and professional.

Dinner here was great. Food was of the highest quality and fresh. Had prawns, tom yum soup and cheese balls for starters. They were very good. For mains, we had Singapore noodles, bbq Prawns and Tuna tataki...so good! There was live music and we sat outside on the patio. Service was very attentive and friendly throughout. Prices are reasonable by London standards (e.g. £5 for mocktail). You have to book a table if you're staying at the Story resort (to which, this restaurant belongs). Highly recommend.

I went there on a Wednesday night on indication of a friend of mine who knows someone who works there. I am a Latin dancer. As promised there was gonna be a lot of Latin enthusiasts and even a lecturing team who was supposed to teach people how to dance prior to the night to start. The team didn’t come and they told me they were gonna come the next Friday. Fair enough. I had dinner there, then a live duo started playing Latin music and I moved close to them. I had 2 more cocktails hoping for Latin fans to come. But nobody came until they closed. I then went back the next Friday since they promised me it was gonna be better for sure. But it was copy paste of the previous night. I had 2 more cocktails. One of the employees came to check on me many times to see if everything was good and we discussed many times how normally these event go. At the time of payment he asked me if I was going to go the next time and I said “of course not” cause who tells me that it was gonna be better? He replied: “you never know”. A friendly advice to whoever is in charge of marketing at that place: in my case it would have been nice to reply: “if you come tomorrow night there will be a complimentary drink for you, since you are a Latin dancer and you came already twice with a lot of expectations. We also hope that there’s gonna be people like you who fancy dancing Latin”. But by acting the way you did you get people who want to find a Latin place in Seychelles far away from your club. I give 2 stars only because the duo playing was very qualified. The music was very well played and the songs they chose...

We were 10 people we called in and made a Reservetion this Mrng for big table inside arriving at 20:00 , we arrived on time and set Down waiters wee friendly and took care for a WiFi code for our children. Drinks took ages to arrive and we had to remind them about it then the waiter came and took the order for starters and main course, part of us got starters while rest had to wait longer and then came the second part main course took Alonso 1.30 hrs to arrive food was gd and not even one bad word about it all very well cooked.

We asked from the waiter to bring us the desert menu and here comes the shocking part. _ sorry sir kitchen is closed we can’t offer you desert this was the answer I got from the waiter and while telling her what I think about it she was not even looking surprised from me been shocked and terrible unhappy.

With no chance of getting any help we had to pay our bill and leave with much sadness as our family saw the list of deserts and wanted to order it.
