This place is really a hidden gem! The food is soooooo gooood!!!!! Kothu Mutton $7.50 Teh $1.20 Net price, No GST No Service Charge Let me walk you through my dining experience, because it was enjoyable throughout! The place is free seating. It’s 8pm+ and still pretty busy, though with a few seats available for a solo diner like myself. Walked up to the counter and was greeted by the friendly and patient order taker. He waits for me to give my order. It’s my first time seeing the menu item Kothu Prata, so I asked what it is. He succinctly and aptly described it as fried kway teow, but with prata 🤯 that immediately perked my interest and I ordered it. He went into the kitchen to make sure that they still had enough mutton for the dish before accepting my order. After payment, I grabbed a seat and went to the drinks counter with my drink order. The lady invited me to my seat and graciously told me that she’ll send the order over. Though she was busy with other orders still, she finished them quickly and my Teh Tarik was served within a minute! Fast service! My food came shortly after too, probably not more than 5 minutes had passed since my drink came. Enjoyed my meal slowly as I took these photos and write this review, all to the soothing sounds of prata frying and kitchen crew chatter coming from the kitchen 😉 I think a happy workplace really lends that happiness to the atmosphere, and it was definitely a joy eating here. The taste. Oh my.. the taste. The Kothu Mutton was everything promised. It tasted like the best prata. The curry tasted amazing with it. The mutton was tender and tasty too! And it REALLY tasted like fried kway teow too haha 😆 the teh too! Really good tea, made sweet and solid, with a good level of froth from the Tarik! Pity I drank it before taking my photos 😢 the portion was huge too! Very filling! Felt like 3 pratas worth, definitely feels like a full murtabak worth of prata dough 😂 Definitely a must-come-back!

Enaq is not a traditional Indian prata shop. Owners are Chinese while the cook are Indians, even though the dishes remains Indian, the taste are not. I usually ordered the original prata without egg and eat it with sugar. The original prata are more doughy, thicker and more crispy than the traditional Indian style prata. As the prata are more like being fried in more oil than the traditional prata. Good for these who likes their prata crispy, but these who prefers the lighter airy type of traditional prata might not like. This time I ordered the plaster prata which is prata with a sunny side up on top. The yolk are runny and are like liquid gold flowing out as I cut into the egg. The yolk coats the prata hence it will not be as crispy if you eat slow. The mee goreng got a bit of wok hei, and the portion is quite big. All the prata are served with fish curry sauce, Dahl curry and sambal. Personally I find the sambal abit too salty The Kothu prata are prata which are shredded and then fried like guo tiao with eggs and onion. It tastes like the non sweet version of fried guo tiao, with mild hint of spices, curry powder and curry leaves taste. Fish curry sauce are given on the side to eat with kothu prata. This is definitely a dish for sharing between at least 3 pax cos it is already super overwhelming for the 2 of us. Maybe also cos we ordered mee goreng and plaster prata. Teh tarik and kopi are not bad - the sweeter version. Service is friendly and they can be attentive, likes some of our visits, we ordered just 2 plain pratas for sharing. They saw that there are 2 of us and will always auto serve the pratas on 2 plates - 1 prata on each plate. 5 stars for the service.

Enaq Prata in Jurong East is a hidden gem for anyone craving delicious Indonesian cuisine! I recently visited this charming eatery and was thoroughly impressed by the variety and quality of their offerings. The star of the show, of course, is their prata. I tried the classic Bomb prata, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It paired beautifully with the rich and flavorful dhal. The menu also features an impressive selection of curries and side dishes. I highly recommend the Nasi Goreng; it was aromatic and had just the right amount of spice. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. The ambiance is casual and inviting, perfect for a quick bite or a leisurely meal with friends and family. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions. Overall, Enaq Prata is a must-visit for anyone in the area. Whether you're a prata enthusiast or just looking to explore some authentic Indonesian flavors, this place won’t disappoint! I can’t wait to return and try more from their extensive menu.

I am a long time customer of Enaq, since the original founder's time in Yuhua market. Afterwards they moved to another HDB block nearby. The founders have retired and hand over the reins to their sons/daughters. Regretfully, it has been going downhill from then. The food have been inconsistent, sometimes good, sometimes bad, and the prices have gone up tremendously. Service wise, has been consistently bad, especially a bad customer service experience today. I bought take away and was standing outside, enduring the heat wave. When there are vacant seats inside the aircon, i walk in and sit in. However, the female young receptionist just walk up and rudely told me to stand outside and wait. I refused and told her that it is hot outside and I was waiting for a long time already, even the later customer got their food and I was still waiting. She ignored and said those customers ordered prata. I refuted that it is bad service and you just wanted people to stand outside, waiting for a long time while u serve the eat-in customers first. It is sad that the food and service had declined considerably. Before the founder's retirement, you can see scores of pple queuing to get a seat or take-away, now you won't see this prosperous scene anymore. If the new generation still manage in this manner, they be squandering the good work done by...
