Unexpected gem in Banska Bystrica. It’s great to witness the gastro scene in BB grow and this place is part of it. The menu has options for everyone and is flexible (add extra eggs, ham, etc), there’s plenty of seating, and the staff is attentive and kind. On the other hand, the coffee was rather disappointing (either bad machine, or inexperienced staff, or bad coffee beans - or all of it) and I would have appreciated more “sexy” options on the menu (eggs Benedict, croque monsieur) that would have brought this place to yet another level. Therefore 4*, definitely...

We discovered this place on our way from the train station to our accomodation and decided to go there for breakfast. What a great choice, during our stay in Banska Bystrica we went here multiple times and we were always satisfied. High quality and delicious meals and great coffee. They also offer water and pastry free of charge as well as outdoor seating. The staff were very nice and polite. Another positive is that it is open from 7am, so if you're going for a trip in the area this is a great place to get some brealfast...

Tak už sa nečudujem že na Slovensku upadá gastronómia. Obsluhujúci personál nemá absolútne záujem o robotu hlavne slečna alebo pani v okuliaroch určite nie. O pol 2 sa prídete najesť o 2 zatvárajú tak už nedostanete kávu. Pri mojej otázke “prečo “ ? , bola reakcia 3 čašníčiek doslovne agresívna - že už zatvárajú. Hlavná vec že ste im zaplatili za obed. To som nikde nezažil a to som už bol v rôznych reštauráciách. Jediné + tohto podniku je jedlo ktoré bolo dobre. Myslím si že si vôbec nevážia hostí ktorí im tam nosia peniaze, a vďaka ním majú zamestnanci robotu. To je môj názor a pohľad na tento podnik.

Deshalb wundert es mich nicht, dass die Gastronomie in der Slowakei rückläufig ist. Das Bedienpersonal hat überhaupt keine Interesse an der Arbeit, vor allem die Dame mit der Brille schon gar nicht. Du kommst um 13:30 Uhr zum Essen, sie schliessen um 14:00 Uhr, also bekommst du keinen Kaffee Mehr. Hauptsache, du hast ihnen das Mittagsessen bezahlt. Auf meine Frage „Warum“? , die Reaktion von 3 Kellnerinnen war im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes aggressiv - wir schließen. Das habe ich noch nicht erlebt und war schon in verschiedenen Restaurants. Das einzige Plus dieser Restaurant ist das Essen, das gut war. Ich denke, dass sie die Gäste, die ihnen Geld bringen, nicht respektieren und nich schätze , dass sie eigentluh dank den Gästen Arbeit Haben . Das ist meine Meinung und Sicht auf...
