Lost opportunity. I write this with 3 foreigners and one slovak. We were proud to go and trusted the reviews, but they are wrong. The layout (display to writing ratio) didn’t make much sense. The biggest issue though was the English translation. It was horrible. We spent the entire time trying to reconstruct sentence structure in hopes to understand what was being said. I don’t say this as a snobby native speaker, the text was missing basic spell check with no care to correct.
Examples are: testttiment, poitcal, thusand, and the list goes on.
Couldn’t you have tried? Even a little? The complex wording paired with unclear subjects in a sentence can be forgiven I suppose. But, the spelling? Books were around when they translated this. This just shows the effort the creator put to share their pride with foreigners.

Read moreReally glad we found this museum. The outdoor war machines are great to stroll around. The museum itself is quite small but well organised with a great collection of guns and clothes to peruse. Most but not all information is in English. We did not use the audio guide which we thought was quite expensive. Also really dislike when museums charge a photography fee (photos we take that can promote the museum!)We came on a Sunday and fortunately it was a half price day for some reason. Read moreI came to see this beautifully designed building by Dušan Kuzma and was really excited to see inside of it after admiring it from the outside. For 5 euro entrance you can't see any of it? It has a two room exhibition on the bottom floor of the smaller half, I didn't even spend 5 minutes and asked that my ticket be given to someone else if possible as I'd already paid. Lady on front desk was very nice, but would have been nice to know before paying there's no ability to see the building, not even see the second floor or the other half of the building accessable.
