Goriffee Košická has a clear point of view—especially when it comes to their coffee philosophy. The beans are bright, acidic, and intentionally dialed toward a sharp, fruit-forward profile that some will find vibrant, while others (like me) may experience it as a bit too sour or vinegary, especially in a larger cup. This isn’t a mistake; it’s a style. It’s not my flavor profile, but it’s theirs—and they deliver it consistently. And while it’s not my go-to, I respect the clarity of their approach. For folks used to heavier, chocolatey, or more balanced cups, I’d suggest starting small to see how it sits.

Food’s quite good—fresh, often creative, though priced on the higher side. The space itself has a great neighborhood vibe: families, kids, older folks, people actually talking, not just scrolling. The outdoor seating makes it a genuinely nice spot to spend time.

Where it falters for me is the service. There’s a noticeable coolness—detached, a bit too hip for its own good, and not always welcoming. At these prices, that matters. But credit where it’s due: they know what they’re doing, and they...

What I do not like: First experience was with a coffee to go. I payed €3.20 (.20 was for a cup)

Next time I came to sit in. I payed €3.00, but sat for 4 hours approximately. If a customer takes coffee to go, he isn't using a table, a wi-fi, or a toilet. Other clients can use the table. The coffee shop can obtain more money from the same place. That's why it's a good practice to give a discount for a coffee to-go. At least –5%. If customer provides its personal cup –10%. It could be 0% by default and –5% for a client with its own cup.

But increasing the price for "to go" by +6.67% — the worst idea in all...

Good service, the decaf coffee was good but the other coffee was very sour (and we usually love fruity coffees). A negative for me was the lack of a normal lactose free milk (on the menu I saw only plant based options which I don't like the taste of). The coffee shop was too cold inside and very loud (echoey), and the seating quite uncomfortable.The washbasin placement was also really bizzare to me - it was in the middle of the coffee shop instead of in the bathrooms, so if you'd like to touch-up your make-up for example, you'd basically do it in front of half the coffee...
