During our recent visit to Bratislava, we had the pleasure of staying at Lindner Hotel Bratislava, and I must say, even if we just stayed one night, it was a fantastic experience that exceeded my expectations in every way.
The location of the hotel is superb, situated right in the heart of the city with easy access to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the attentive staff who made check-in a breeze. The lobby area is sleek and contemporary, setting a tone of modern elegance that carried throughout the entire hotel.
Our two rooms at Lindner Hotel Bratislava were spacious. The decor was stylish yet understated, creating a calming atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The view from our rooms overlooking the city skyline was stunning, especially during sunset.
Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a delightful experience. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of both hot and cold items, including fresh fruits, pastries, and made-to-order eggs. The quality of food was excellent, and the service was attentive without being intrusive.
Overall, Lindner Hotel Bratislava provided a perfect blend of modern comfort, excellent service, and convenient location. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bratislava, as it truly enhances the experience of exploring this...
Read moreCozy and clean hotel, comfy beds, bathroom is very nice, beautiful view (depending on your room though, ours was 715). TV had some problems with sound, every few seconds sound turned OFF and than after a few seconds ON again (our room was not the only one with this problem). We had loud neighbours, which annoyed us a little (handled the situation by knocking and asking to keep it down). We constanlty heard some noises that were happening around our room area (door slamming, people walking above our room, children shouting... thin walls?). If you don't hang the "Do not disturb" sign on your outer door handle or you don't lock yourself in, you might get surprised by a maid like we did. Breakfast was very good and rich with all kinds of food (fruit, vegetables, scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal, different coffees, teas, traditional food...). Pool and GYM weren't included in our price, we would have to pay additional 9€ or something like that. They have a beautiful bar on the top of the hotel, which has a astonishing view, especially at night. It is very pricey though. The location is very good, you have a massive mall right next to the hotel entrance and also a brewery with good beer and food...
Read moreI had a generally positive experience at this hotel, with a few things that future guests.
The Positives: The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which always makes a big difference. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall, which turned out to be very convenient. I was able to replace my shoes after they were ruined in the rainy weather, and there was also a pharmacy that came in handy. The water pressure in the shower was excellent - strong and consistent. While the hotel is not located in the heart of downtown/old town area, it is close to trolley stops that make getting there fairly easy and straightforward. Has an amazing bar area with a great view of the city!
Areas for Improvement: The carpeting on our floor was noticeably worn and had visible stains. It did not affect the functionality of the space, but it did detract from the overall impression. The shower tub in our room was quite high. I consider myself to be in good shape and fairly flexible, but even I found it a bit challenging to step in and out safely. I would be concerned for elderly guests or anyone with limited mobility trying to use it without...
