Marlon Pub — Restaurant in Bratislava

You'll find Marlon pub in one of those not too pretty but green and leafy prefabricated-housing neighbourhoods built in the 1960s. These quiet residential neighbourhoods, nowadays mostly populated by pensioners who moved in when they were still young, occasionally hide little gems like Marlon.

This is an old-school pub that looks exactly like it did in the "good old days" of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. But instead of the surly waiters, watered-down beer, and standardised low-effort food available everywhere in the days of the "workers' paradise", Marlon pub has moved with the times, and offers honest portions of tasty, good quality classic pub food, accompanied by a wide range of beers and homemade fruit lemonades.

Best of all is the wonderfully friendly service, something which is still too rare in most places even today. The enthusiastic, happy, bubbly waitress definitely made our day.

The atmosphere is amazing. True Slovakian, old styled restaurant/bar with amazing food (I can't stress this enough, the food is absolutely incredible.) The place offers a variety of fun activites, including a pool table, darts, karaoke and others. The waitress Vikky was really nice and, once again, I highly recommend this place if you're in the area

Aj keď sme sa pri vstupe trocha zľakli (skôr nám to prišlo ako herňa alebo klub pre mladých), ostatné predčilo naše očakávania. Skvelá a veľmi milá obsluha, dostatočný výber jedál, príjemné ceny. Z polievok sme ochutnali fazuľovú a boršč a obe boli veľmi chutné. Z jedál odporúčame hamburgery (porcia pre ozajstných jedákov), ale aj skvelé rizoto (výber z troch druhov), ktoré je krémové a je v ňom naozaj dosť mäsa a hríbov. Pre milovnikov mäsa odporúčame kurací steak s fazuľovymi luskami, černohorský rezeň alebo Gordon blue. Na pitie treba určite skúsiť ich domáce limonády s ovocím.
