Pizzeria La Mamma — Restaurant in Bratislava

This place was recommended to us as one of those 'hidden gems' of Bratislava pizza-wise. A place where they make great pizza despite not looking like a high-end restaurant. I must say, it is literally true. It's located, and looks like a place that wouldn't offer you a good pizza, but you'd be wrong. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, the menu was short and on the point. But most of all the pizza was flawless. Thin, crispy, perfectly done crust with fresh ingredients and a very good quality tomato sauce. They were quick to deliver the food and were kind to ask if we wanted garlic on the pizza or not. This is a simple, non-pretentious place that makes very good pizza. The prices are a bit average the local prices but worth it. Recommended! One star down only for the "local old pub"...

For me as a Guest in Bratislava I felt like Pizza is something like the national food here. Because on every corner you will find a Pizza store. In the inner City there is about every 2m a new Pizza store. So at the first Moment I was not expecting something special here. But I was wrong! This Store is absolutely worth the Name! Pizza la Mamma is describing everything! The taste is really one of the best I've every had. Absolutely recommended to go here if you are visiting Bratislava! ;) ps.: they also have an english cart!...

This was some years ago really good restaurant. But now it is not worth a visit. Unfriendly waitress has face expression that you are disturbing her with your visit. When we arrived here the place was empty but it took a long time for the waitress to come to us and even longer time to bring us the food. The place is understaffed. The food is mediocre no reason to come here. Some years ago it was a legendary pizza joint, but these days there are much better pizza joints...
