Penzión DONET — Hotel in Bratislava

Great choice if location doesn't matter as much.

Good

I think there are quite a few things that work well. There are clearly some effort from the owner and it shows in small details and little things that are not so obvious.

I like that the place is quite clean and spotless in most places however I did notice a single hair piece on the corroded towel warmer, so it's not perfect.

The check-in process was fast and so was the checkout.

The wi-fi connection was good at all times no issues.

Noise insulation was also good or I didn't really hear anyone. Since the hotel is located near railway tracks the trains were passing by, so that was audible but otherwise noise from the cars on the street was not really noticeable.

Not so good

The clock didn't work (I guess batteries were empty) and the fan in shower made some noise when I turned it out, but I don't think it actually was working.

Location is not the best as it's quite away from most attractions. During the day and night it was quite hot inside, opening windows or turning the standalone fan on didn't make...

A small family run hotel which was difficult to locate initially from Bratislava main railway station. The hotel is in a very quiet locality, well maintained and the hosts were very helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean and well equipped. A kettle with ample tea and coffee provisions, glasses for water and tea cups were provided. The laundry was very clean and looked new. The bath was large and the TV provided several English language channels. The WiFi signal was good in all parts of the hotel. There was a bus stop near the hotel which made it convenient to go to the city for sightseeing. Being a little isolated, the main doors of the hotel are shut a little early in the evening. The hotel is well kept, clean room and bathrooms, clean laundry, provides a kettle in the room with tea and coffee provisions free of charge. A couple runs the hotel and is well managed.||It is close to a bus stop and the railway station two stops away by bus. It is situated round a corner and maybe difficult to find the first time.||The main gate closes in the evening and before check - in it is difficult to access especially for an international tourist who has no phone facility to contact the owners to open the gate. ||A good hotel with a personal touch...
