Unforgettable Culinary Experience at Zen Garden
Recently, we visited Zen Garden restaurant and were thrilled with the overall experience. Right from the entrance, we were greeted by a pleasant atmosphere and a tasteful interior that evoked a sense of peace and comfort.
Appetizer: We started with maki rolls featuring salmon and tuna. The rice was perfectly cooked, the seafood fresh, and the combination of flavors excellent. The portions were just right and aesthetically presented.
Main Courses: We continued with a salmon poke bowl and the Philadelphia set. The poke bowl was colorful, packed with fresh vegetables and delicious salmon, with a sauce that added an exceptional flavor. The Philadelphia set was equally tasty and prepared with quality ingredients.
Dessert: The tiramisu was masterfully prepared—delicate, creamy, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. Every bite was a delight for the taste buds.
Drink: We ordered a gin & tonic with our meal, which was professionally mixed with a balanced ratio of gin, tonic, and citrus notes. It was refreshing and the ideal complement to our dishes.
Service: The staff was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Their recommendations were spot-on and greatly enhanced our overall experience.
Conclusion: Zen Garden charmed us not only with its excellent food but also with its inviting atmosphere and the professional approach of the staff. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a quality gastronomic experience in a pleasant setting. We will...
Read moreAfter reading many good reviews, we decided to visit the Zen Garden. It was a huge disappointment: service was really bad, the personal was not kind and we had to wait 50 minutes to get our food (even the restaurant being almost empty). When food finally came, more unpleasant surprises: no soya sauce was brought (we had to ask for it), no appropriate small flat plate to dispose it, Philadelphia roll had so much cream cheese that we couldn’t taste other ingredients (of course I knew that a Philadelphia roll would have cream cheese but the amount was totally wrong), the sashimi was so thin that felt as smoked salmon (served with a sauce probably to cover up the low quality), seaweed on makis was chewy, rice was undercooked… Even the soda with lemon was wrong: served without any ice on a summer day. Many basic mistakes. Music being played was also terrible - the name “zen garden” feels ironic, I was far from being zen there. If you want to try a good sushi go to Kazumi Bistro, a Japanese place in its essence: quality is high, people are nice and...
Read moreZEN GARDEN - BREAKFAST & SUSHI in Bratislava is a place you’ll want to return to. It has a pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, and, of course, delicious food. One thing that really stood out was the staff’s attention to detail—when we arrived, my girlfriend had flowers, and they immediately offered us a vase. It’s the first time I’ve seen such thoughtfulness in a Bratislava restaurant!
The menu is impressive, offering everything from breakfasts to sushi and signature dishes. We tried their new sushi burgers with salmon and shrimp. The taste was simply amazing: tender fish, juicy shrimp, fresh vegetables, and perfectly cooked rice made for a perfect combination.
The service is top-notch—the staff is attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. They truly care about their guests. ZEN GARDEN - BREAKFAST & SUSHI leaves only positive impressions, and it’s definitely a place worth...
