For a long time I only visited Kebab at the end of Obchodna Street, because the Döner kebab in tortilla from a Greek chef is delicious, but I always heard from people that the best kebab in Bratislava, if not in Slovakia, is on Trnavské mýto and that I have to try it. So I went there for the first time last week and went back again a few days later, and again today.
The kebab is in a completely fresh bun made by Mustafer itself, the kebab is full of meat, completely fresh vegetables, nice yoghurt dressing. The meat is different from what we are used to from other Kebab outlets in our area. There is a slightly different spice used in it, I would say there is Roman cumin or something close and similar to Garam Masala, and it gives a completely different and interesting taste. The meat itself is also different than what we are used to, it is quite tender and juicy.
This kebab is seventh heaven in my mouth, I regret trying it for the first time only now, and I can't wait to have it again.
The kebab in a bun costs 3,5€ and it is unbelievably amazing.
It's a bit of a shame that you can ONLY pay in cash, but if you find yourself in a cash-strapped situation, there are several ATMs right in the underpass at the Trnavské mýto, so you can have your dream...
Read moreMusafer at Trnavské Mýto is known as one of the best kebabs in Bratislava. I decided to try it. The meat was tasty - well chosen spices and the bun contained a good portion. Really provides some tasty protein. Only €2.70 for ordinary kebab in a bun makes almost unbeatable price if we take into consideration the quality. The man prepares the meat himself (unlike most of the kebabs, who ship in frozen meat-loafs). Cabbage is crunchy and the yoghurt sauce reminded me of Slovak sheep cheese product bryndza. They probably use really quality products. Try it and let me know, but remember that several food pickers spoke highly...
Read moreThis kebab is a perfect example of why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. When I first saw the blue shipping container with spray foam dripping from the roof, I was pretty skeptical—and honestly, a bit worried about getting food poisoning.
But holy **, it turned out to be one of the best kebabs I've ever had. The man serving the kebab (probably the owner) was incredibly friendly, and one kebab costs just €4.50.
Definitely recommended, and I’m hoping to come back soon!
Edit: just a heads up...
