Read moreI loved it! It is small, pleasant and beautiful. Included in price is a tea or coffee in their bar. You get a tablet where you can read something about each painting. I think it represents modern Slovak art very well even with the small number of pieces.
There are 5 floors which are quite small and you can be there for a very short time if you are not the kind a person who wants to read everything about a certain piece of art and look at it for a long time. Read moreYou should go. Really. Go. We went during the week when there were few other visitors. The art and its context is super interesting. The paintings are beautiful, or disturbing, or thought provoking, and the styles of specific artists become so clear when you see two or three of them next to each other. I particularly liked the women's legs pictures. And there are sculptures on many of the floors. There are maybe 5 circular floors with a hole in between going down to the ground floor, which I think is a changeable exhibition.
