Starbucks — Restaurant in Bratislava

Edited 19.11.24 I appreciate the Starbucks team’s immediate action and the pleasant response toward this matter. I visit this Starbucks every Friday for an hour-long conversation lesson and generally enjoy the atmosphere. However, during my visit today around 5:30 pm, I had an uncomfortable experience with a staff member. When I went to return the cups and noticed a basket with other cups nearby. I thought it was for used cups, but when I realized they were clean, I was about to ask where I should place mine. At that moment, a staff member yelled at my student and I twice, “vedľa,” which I later understood meant “next to it” in Slovak. As someone who doesn’t speak Slovak well, I was taken aback and felt uncomfortable. I understand staff may have stressful days, but a polite direction would have been much more appropriate.

As a frequent customer, I felt disappointed by this experience and hope staff can be encouraged to approach situations like this with more patience and respect. Thank you for considering...

First experience here was horrible as i wanted espresso with milk and after few questions service brought americano without milk..wow..after couple weeks i gave it another chance and we had what is on the picture..Tiramisu Creamed Iced Shaken Signature Espresso (what a name 😁) was delish, sweet as expected and i didnt like the coffee taste too much because iam used to drink specialty light roasted african coffees..this coffee seems bit harsh but its better for this application than light roast so no points down here.. Here 7:19:25 and had a lovely barista. Like most of Europe the sizes are smaller especiallly in iced drinks and no trentas. The price for Starbucks here is USA prices and a smidge more for a smaller drink. Oh well it’s the price you pay for the Starbucks addiction. We had a venti cold brew with cream foam and a six shot extra hot latte and we paid a little $18 USD! Yes you read that right. I was here one night so ok and nothing else around opened until 9 or 10.
