During my stay at Hotel Pošta in Jasná, I had the pleasure of dining at Angus, and it was truly an unforgettable experience.

The atmosphere at Angus is both elegant and cozy. The central fireplace adds a warm, rustic charm that made our meal feel even more special. The large windows provided stunning views of the surrounding mountains, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing evening.

The food was exceptional. I ordered their signature Angus steak, and it was cooked to perfection – tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The sides were equally impressive, especially the roasted vegetables and creamy mashed potatoes. My partner opted for the salmon, which was also perfectly cooked with a crispy skin and flaky texture.

The service at Angus was impeccable. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent wine pairing recommendations. We never felt rushed, yet our food arrived in a timely manner.

To finish, we had the chocolate fondant, which was rich and decadent – the perfect way to end the meal.

The menu is concise, emphasizing fresh produce, and features dishes such as marrow bone with salad and baguette, as well as the Angus Burger with onion marmalade and cheddar cheese, served on a brioche bun.

Restaurant located in hotel posta. Good service, nice wine card and cozy atmosphere with fire and live music inside.

There is NO kids menu (therefore not the best choice for family dining) + when we stayed with family in Posta - we tried all dishes in 2 days. So I’d recommend restaurant team add some seasonal options and wide a bit more options of second dishes.
