Penzion Alzbetky (also written Alzbetka) is situated on a street entering the ancient part of Poprad, a 5 minute walk from its center.||The place a beautifully decorated with vintage/retro furniture and art elements - both rooms and the public areas.||The suite received included one room devided to a "bedroom" and a seating space (with a sofa, small table and a tv) and a bathroom which has a bath but not any installation to hang the faucet for taking a shower.||As the place is bordering the the street, some noise may enter. A bigger problem arosed since the room window was facing an outer space used by smokers (what limited the ability to open it and much affected our privacy).||Breakfast was very reach and fulfilled our needs.||To sum up the pros are much more...
Read moreI was here with a friend for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.||||The staff there were really lovely and friendly, and each morning we had an excellent breakfast that included hams, cheeses, scrambled eggs, sausages and breads, and more! So a great way to start each day. The breakfast room also doubles as a cafe bar and I wish I had the chance to go there in the evening, but I was at AquaCity! ||||Our room was a nice size with wooden floors but some of the other rooms are huge so well worth the extra. Read moreWe stayed there for 4 nights. Excellent location for city trips. Rooms are clean and spacious, only bathroom is claustrophobic, but has its own ambience. New furniture. WiFi works almost OK - with many, many short breaks. Staff is very nice and straightforward - greetings to Tomasz :). Our roon has no balcony (I suppose no one has), but a little "cafe" - 2 tables + chairs in front of penzion - was even better. Please note that street Pod branou (especially penzion's part) is one way street, so if you miss car park place you have to hit a little...
