Gostilna Labirint — Restaurant in Upravna enota Koper / Unità amministrativa Capodistria

Its a restaurant that is just a couple of minutes from where I live so I usually go there to have a cup of coffee o "latte macchiato" and to drink their homemade raspberry iced tea which is slightly more expensive (compared to other drinks they offer) but worth every penny with its freshness and the fact that it's homemade and every day freshly made there. The food there its also tasty and pretty cheap considering the location (of the restaurant) in the middle of the old town with Tito's Square just around the corner. I like the fact that it's on a top location with access both from Čevljarska street (main entrance) as from Brolo Square (entrance from their backyard) and still being a quite "hidden" place with a very quiet, calm and relaxing atmosphere which makes you feel like being somewhere on the outskirts of Koper and not in the middle of the old town in the old citycentre(I presume that's where the owner got the idea for the name Labirint, because of its a little bit hidden and strange access).Not to forget, the thing I recommend the most (if you choose to go there for a lunch/dinner)is to try for dessert their pancake "Ferrero rocher"...

5, 4, 3, 2 years ago: Outstanding place with tasty food and very nice owner. It is also quite cheap compared to the other places in Koper. The owner is very caring and doesnt hesitate to stretch the opening hours for you. When i am in Koper, i will go there ever again. It was my favourite place, but...

Now (after change of owner): The food is bland, not seasoned properly. They even served us polenta as vegan "cevapcici". Terrible. It has truly changed extremely. The food is low quality but more expensive than before. And they play really annoying music. Dont recommend at all.

All the best reviews are from the era of the previous owner. I am very sorry, that they ruined the place we liked. We were coming back to Koper to enjoy food in Labirint each year and now we need to look for another...

A very fun eatery. They have small table seating four groups of four, but I suspect they could do larger parties for standing room. Food and service was quick and efficient. Our waitress spoke excellent English and had written translations of the menu.

Interior is clean and trendy. Small pieces of art make the interior pop. Limited parking out front and only a short walk from the cruise line.

They have a room in the back for children's birthday parties complete with toys and entertainment.
