Pizzerija Laterna — Restaurant in Upravna Enota Ljubljana

In my opinion best pizza in Ljubljana. The restaurant is a bit outside of the city center, placed in the quarter Vic Perfectly located for students from Rozna Dolina or the faculties nearby. More than that they have Student Boni here and a visit pays treally of and you wont regret it. Young and nice stuff serves really nice woodoven baked pizzas and beside you get a soup and a salad like everywhere else as well. If the stomach still has space after a not small pizza, take the advise and order homemade slovenian pancakes with Nutella. A dream...

The outside tables are shaded and the water fountain feature contributed to an atmosphere of refreshing and pleasant place in the temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, even though the establishment is a repurposed private home. A good selection of drinks, including Lagunitas IPA from California. The pizzas - Margherita , Four cheeses and Prosciutto were mediocre in taste and presentation. Hate to say it. I'm a New york pizza snob. I normally won't even walk into a pizzeria outside NY unless I'm starving. Which is what brought me to this place, starvation. But I'm so glad it got me there. We had the vegetarian pie. The crust was great. So well cooked, tasty, and the perfect chew. The veg toppings were the right amount.
