Wow! What a great restaurant. My wife and I stopped in for supper earlier this week. We timed this meal perfectly as people were heading home after the Easter weekend. We loved everything about this meal. We sat in the outside eating area as it was a lovely, warm evening. We timed the meal so we could see the beautiful sunset through the harbour area (see pic). I can't say enough about the service given during our meal. Our waiter was top-notch, friendly, and really made our meal so much more than the great food. I really want to thank him for taking the time to chat with us during courses and drinks. As for the food - delicious. Our starters were very good, and we enjoyed trying the different scallops normally found in our area in Canada. I didn't quite understand the cheese on the calamari, but the calamari was great. As for our mains - wow. I ordered the lobster in pasta. They didn't just use lobster pieces or main parts such as the tail and claws. It was a whole lobster. I have not had a whole lobster in such a long time - and I ate every bit of it. My wife's pork was also perfectly done. Both dishes came out in steel pans that they were cooked in. Great way to serve these meals and a large serving size. We also tried an athentic Slovenian dessert. It may not be for everyone, but I really enjoyed the new tastes from this treat. Read moreThe food was mediocre overall, the razor clam was absolutely inedible—way too salty and full of grit. When the server came by to ask how everything was, I said the clam was incredibly salty. They looked at me strangely at first but then said they’d check with the kitchen. A few minutes later, they came back and told us someone in the kitchen might’ve accidentally added too much salt. They apologized for the mistake and said they’d make a new one.
Really??? But seriously—if they already knew there was a problem, why did they serve it in the first place???? huh??? how?? That just blew my mind.
And honestly, the “new” one they brought out tasted exactly the same. Still unbearably salty. I honestly doubt they actually remade it. I didn’t bother asking again because I figured they’d just mess it up a second time too. So I left most of it untouched.

The tuna pasta with sauted onions and truffle sauce was immaculate, bursting with rich flavors a simple mind couldn't even hope to comprehend. It was a mind blowingly delicios meal and I truly enyojed it. The tuna steak with goat cheese was wonderful but the cheese wasn't melted and the fresh vegetables were delicious. The king prawns were mediocre they felt old and they did not meet my expectations, the homemade lemon mayo and potatoes were a great combination, the potatoes were very nice and the mayonaise went well with the prawns. The service was one of the best i have ever seen the server was very nice, knowledgable about the food and we were served almost immediately, the food came out prety quickly but they made a mistake with the pasta and instead of me having to request that they remake it the waiter politely apologised and took the food back to be remade without a moment's notice.
