The ćevapi were actually quite good – as long as you know what to expect. The Sarajevo style is quite different from the typical "Balkan" ćevapi you might know. In Croatia or Serbia, you'll usually get nicely grilled meat rolls on a plate with loads of sides – ajvar, yogurt, fries or roasted potatoes. But here, at the Sarajevo restaurant, it's much simpler: pita bread, a few pieces of meat, raw onions, and that's it. A minimalist mission.
Authenticity-wise, I get it – this is their style, and that's how they want to present it. But honestly, it wouldn’t hurt if someone at least asked whether we wanted some sauce or a side dish to make the experience more complete. Otherwise, it can feel a bit dry, and you find yourself wishing for something extra to bring it all together.
The sea view? Absolutely lovely! Big plus there. But then there are the little details that bring the overall experience down. Serving food on metal trays like you're at a train station buffet? Feels like a missed opportunity for a place with such potential. And no napkins? Not even one? That's a pretty big fail, especially when you're eating with your hands.
The service? Polite enough, but nothing special. A bit more energy, a smile, and some genuine interest would definitely make a big difference.
All in all, a good experience – but there’s clear potential to take it to the next level. It just takes a little...

It’s all up for debate depending on where you live. In any case, these skinless...
