Debonairs Pizza — Restaurant in Bellville

Ordered on Vday, understand they busy but we order almost every month, if not 2 times a month there. When we call, our name comes up.

We placed order and it went nice Pizzas get delivered, then the driver or store, never gave the desert. Fiance brought pizza's in and paid for the Pizza and dessert! Driver said he will go back and get it.

We open Pizza's and both of them are not the flavours we ordered, im allergic to mushrooms so the pizza had that on and I could have died. Luckily I saw and then immediately called back. They said I will need to wait for driver to come back but they will call me back. 20 mins past and no call, we call back and then have to retell them the situation and then they like how do we know its wrong , and we said we looked. 30 mins past no call or update, we call again and they say they need to talk to the manager. Another 45 mins go by and no call. We call and they say driver is on the way with dessert and correct pizza's and then we like stay on the line or get me your manager, we here the hoot.

We go get pizza's, check it and its right we put off. They expect us to still give incorrect pizza's to them.

Luckily we have morals and integrity so we didn't mess with the wrong food and gave it.

These fast food places have really gone downhill.

I know its franchises but it is terrible.

They should get salary deducted for unhappy customers in such a case so that they can step it...

I love this Debonairs I have been ordering here for the last past 2 years. But recently 😭 it went south fast. I always order the Sweet Chilli Chicken Large Triple Decker, or small never had problems even from other fast food chains (Debonairs) The service has been great with friendly service and a reminder that it’s basically my kitchen away from home. I went home with my partner, ate the pizza and my partner gave up at the second slice as she commented “this pizza is very off today” I didn’t pay much, I kept eating up to 3 slices of the Sweet Chilli Chicken Large Triple Decker. Not even past one hour I immediately throw up all the pizza 🤮 and could taste the fresh taste in my mouth. Sadly this went on for about 6-8 hours with repeated vomit every hour almost till at night I could not sleep with my body aching and more vomiting session’s occurred 😭🤮

Unfortunately to the owner/manager I think the quality of food needs to be checked up. The place is amazing but the food quality has done some damage as a long time customer at this Debonairs. I hope something would be done and not for anyone else to go through what I went through....

Recently went to this Debonairs for a second time to see if I'm gonna receive better service. Me and my friends ordered the special pizza's for dinner as we came back from a long week of week. We waited quite some time for our food, but there was no other people with us in the place. Like the wait went to 45 minutes and it was disappointing to wait that long because we had to be somewhere else also. We eventually got our pizza's. It was quite good actually and we were really happy with it. But we hope next time it don't have to take that long, because I would think twice before going there if I want something quick for the road. Please look into this, because the food is actually very good, the food gets 5...
