Had the worst experience at wimpy. The lady behind the counter (P) gave the waitresses a hard time which was noticeable from a customers point of view. The vibe inside of Wimpy was very tense. We went to pay at desk owner was busy at the desk so (P) helped us with payment she used one machine and it declined but she took the slip and made us pay again on a different machine. The payment went through both times and it shows so on the banks statements after 2 weeks of going back and fourth with wimpy they refused to pay . We went to our bank and their bank and both says Wimpy has to refund the one amount but they don't want to. The owner has been delaying the process whenever we call they don't pick up or they say he is out for delivery. The worst meal ever. I normally eat at Wimpy but after this experience I will never go back. First the waiter brings me a Medium Soft egg after I asked for a hard one. Her attitude stank and she made it look like we gave her the wrong order but she wasn’t listening properly. After a huge disagreement and the waitress only wanting her way to happen she brought me this. An Oily Egg that’s made hard in a FryPan, chips that stills looks white and bacon that’s burnt to the core. How do they expect a customer who is young and has Cholesterol to eat this food. We went on a Sunday for a quick lunch at about 1 pm.
We were told that they will be closing at 2, and that we have to rush. When we ordered we weren't asked if we wanted white or brown bread. When we received our food we had to go ask them for butter.
Other than that, the food was nice. After that experience I don't want to go to Wimpy. I understand that nobody wants to work on a Sunday, but rushing your clients is unacceptable. Instead of rushing your clients to finish before a set time, rather close the doors an hour...
