Very dissapointed. This past Saturday, I booked the conference area at the back for me and my friends for my 24th Birthday. I also booked a barmen for the evening. When I got there, I was told that I would be sharing the conference area with the Southern Kings rugby players, and that no barmen has been booked.

I phoned them last week to make the booking, still asked over the phone if I should pay a deposit for a barmen or can I pay on the night, I was still told I could pay on the night. Also, I told them over the phone that I would have +- 30/40 people coming. When I got there Saturday evening, they told me I would me sharing the conference area with the King's because my Guest list was less than 40 people. None of this information was given to me over the phone or prior to the evening, that if there is less than 40 guests coming, they would give the other half of the conference area to another group. If I knew this, I would have gone somewhere else. We sat very squashed with my guests and the guests of the Kings in one place.

What made the night even more frustrating was that the manager came to me and apologised, and said he would organise a barmen to atleast sell ciders and wine. When I went to him about 2 hours later asking him where is the barmen, he told me he could not release another barmen from the other bar to come serve us. He would not have shared this information with me if I didn't to to him.

This is not the first time this happened. My friend had a 21st there two years ago and was also double booked and another mate of mine had a similar experience.

Last time I will ever have a function there again, as this has happened...

It is so easy to give Bridge Street Brewery a 5 star rating! There should be more categories to rate them on, such as Calibre of staff; Profesionalism; Facilities on offer, Client focus, etc.

We hosted an intimate 21st birthday party for my daughter at Bridge Street Brewery recently which we booked out on their deck a good couple weeks in advance. Upon checking in with one of the Managers Kosie, a few of days prior to the event, it was reassuring to know their planning was on track, that food had been ordered, the kitchen was briefed and that they were organised and ready to host our party.

Kosie, being completely focused on the overall customer experience, noted that the weather on the night of our party would be miserable and offered to move our party to a cosy undercover area.

On arrival the evening of the party we were meat by Tyrone and our amazing waitron Cyril who was dedicated to our party for the evening. They immediately made us feel welcome and assisted with setting up the finishing touches we brought with us to create personalized the space for the party. They regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.

The food and drinks we pre-ordered came out at the exact time we requested. We were blown away by the quality and attention to detail of their catering for the party.... but then we have always only had a great food in a great atmosphere and that is why my daughter picked Bridge Street for her party!

This amazing team of professional customer centered individuals took the pressure off hosting our guests and made our daughter's birthday party truly a night to remember.

Well done Bridge...

The place is beautiful but there is a sense of racism or undermining I felt. We were served by a black lady, that just said we can choose any table we want to sit on,we chose and she came with the menus. She put the menus on the dirty table,I asked her to please first wipe the table as it was full of tree shedding. She came with a dirty cloth to wipe the table and I was so shocked,we ordered and waited for our drinks, she bought the drinks and utensils and not the salt and pepper just like other tables. She the bought out food and still no salt and pepper ,we then decided to fetch the salt and pepper from other reserves empty table.I started calling for her,and she was ignoring me and after a while she came and asked if we okay and I said no because of the service and then I asked about the sources (I was midway eating my food)and she said sources are payed for,I asked if is that not something she is supposed to tell us while ordering or ask if we would like to have some sources.

I am a black young girl, and would not recommend another black person to go there.I was talking to my friend about the place and my friend said they were given the same treatment, being ignored and left hanging but they decided to go somewhere else as soon as they noticed the undermining and kinda racism...

This is a restaurant linked to a micro brewery mostly known for great beer and good pizzas. They also have other items on the menu such as burgers, steaks and beer battered fish. The quality of the food is decent, though it can be a little hit and miss (have had great meals here and OK ones at other times). They used to have a great calamari main, but this has sadly been removed after Covid. Recently the restaurant has been drawing a party crowd at night if you're looking for a place with a vibe. Contact the restaurant to find out when they have live music as it's definitely worth visiting on those days. The prices are very reasonable and service is good. There is a large outside patio and an inside seating area. Can get busy especially on evenings when they have their pizza specials.

A year ago I had a bad experience. BSB proved me wrong and I visit alot. Last night was unfortunately the visit that will make me not return... Any complaints i had, the waiter would simply say : ya ey this ne management ey alot has changed. Asked her to inform her manager that they have just lost a returning customer. A manager didn't even once visit me at my table to talk about it. The drink I go there for (that's still on the menu) they don't do anymore. I ask for a medium patty, i get a well done, half the size of usual patty (and just get told ya ey things have changed, even the meat it's not the same) No fresh green chillies to serve with the pizzas... The list goes on. Definitely was my last time visiting bsb

Stepping into this joint, I was immediately struck by the ambiance - "Los Angeles" - a different dimension, chilled vibes that made it the perfect spot for a casual lunch experience. The food was nothing short of spectacular. From the perfectly seared steak, rich and tender, to the loaded fries, every dish was a hit. The pizza was a bang. But the highlight was undoubtedly the gin special—a creative presentation of various gin-based drinks, each uniquely crafted. It's not just a meal, it was an authentic airy vibe, great background music designed to cater to the senses. Quite the memorable escapade.
