Royal Delhi Restaurant 🇮🇳 — Restaurant in Eastern Cape

After being a regular customer, sad to say that I will never support this restaurant ever again after “Koshin” who identified himself as the owner completely raised his voice and blatantly refused feedback that I was served by and large bone meat instead of “meat on the bone”. Failed to even offer an alternative without me presenting myself physically to his restaurant, clearly demonstrating a “I don’t care” attitude!!!!! He was unprofessional, condescending, personal, arrogant and based on his demeanour no longer cares about customer base retention and improve customer satisfaction. I REFUSE TO SPEND ANY MONEY TO SUCH AN ESTABLISHMENT THAT WAS LOYAL TO FOR SO LONG, ONLY TO BE TREATED LIKE A CHANCE TAKER!! Nice decor and atmosphere, service friendly, but then the food arrived. I had curried lam and rice, pompodom and what they call chilly bites. Wife had lam chops and salad with naan. The lam was burnt to the point that it could onley be described as a crime. The chillybites looked as if it was left in the deep vat fryer for way to long . Every thing was dripping in oil. It was sickening. Pompodoms had puddles of oil on it even after i turned it over a vew times. As an compliment they serve ms balls chutney, bandana slices and rice crispies as sprinkles i kid you not. My curry had a vew burnt piece of lam wich carried throughout the dish. The food took really long to arrive. The samosas served were not samosas! They were (chinese) spring rolls. This is quite a big mistake for an indian restaurant and shows that it is not completely authentic. It was more of a nothern indian cuisine. I must admit that once the food arrived I did enjoy the main dishes, the paneer was fairly well done and I liked that they had quite a few vegetarian options as indian cuisine should have. Interior was making a quite authentic feeling though and the staff were nice. I would come back for the main dishes as are table did enjoy them however I do feel like the price is slightly high.
