Valentine 2023 mixed feelings on my experience. Food was absolutely superb. Owners where great hosts and entertainment provided was also good. Unfortunately we received extremely poor service from the waitress. She turned a great evening into a really bad experience and what really got me upset was the fact that her tip was already included in the bill. She totally neglected the table and when confronted she was dismissive and confrontational, a real pity as the restaurant deserves a good review!! In response to your request the waitress was the first to serve our table she provided the starters without any salt etc and after numerous attempts to catch her attention I was forced to request assistance from another waiter. When our drink were up the same experience I grabbed a complete different waiter who was serving another table and he eventually assisted with our drinks. After a long delay I put my hand up untill she came to the table and I ordered the food. Once received exactly the same reaction she just totally neglected the table I was then forced to approuch the third waiter who then assisted with desert. I then requested that that waiter bring the bill he then asked her to attend to this. I was disgusted with her service and protested she was extremly dismisive and just blew me off by saying it is not her duty to serve our table there are others that can assist I still regret having to tip a waitress for attrocious service. The food was good, although quite pricy. Unfortunately the terribly slow and absolutely unapologetic service really spoiled the experience for us.

We were a large group, 9 adults and several children, who all ordered our meals at the same time. The first two meals arrived about an hour after we ordered, which is fair on a busy Sunday afternoon.

About 15 minutes later my food arrived. My hake and calamari were warm but my chips were completely cold.

The last of our friends’ meals arrived nearly an hour after the first ones. Some items were missing from some of the orders. The starters which we ordered to be eaten BEFORE our main meal also only arrived at this time.

This is seriously not how a group of friends intend to enjoy a meal TOGETHER. If your kitchen can’t handle these volumes then you should have fewer tables or plan better.

The manager’s attitude was also not very apologetic and the waiters really need to be trained properly.

We had high expectations but walked away very disappointed. Despite the good food this was sadly one of the worst overall dining experiences I’ve had...
