We have been to this restaurant several times and whilst it does not have much ambiance or warmth from the staff our daughter loves their chicken sweetcorn soup. It is a very cold day today we fancied eating something warm and hearty so being in the area we decided to swing by the Chinese for soup. The front door was wide open and it was freezing inside, we asked the staff if they had a heater, the small Chinese lady and other staff were sitting behind the counter looking totally disinterested shrugged and said "no we dont" we decided to stay anyway and sat at a table where we then saw a gas heater next to the fish tank. I asked if we could pull it close to the table light it, the girl shouted no gas, I asked why there was no gas on a freezing day and was told boss no here no money that's why. It was more the body language and the tone that upset us, we decided to leave are are currently sitting in a much warmer Ocean Basket downstairs underneath the Beijing restaurant. Waiting time was 1 hour + for only take aways. Customer service was below average, whereby the front desk waitress starts another conversation while you are busy talking to her. Upon ordering, they said no prawn spring rolls were available, as there were no prawns.We then exchanged it for chicken spring rolls. They made us pay for it, but they did not make the spring rolls. They refunded us only after we alerted them that there were no spring rolls, and this was after the 1 hour + waiting time. We were given our order after the customers that arived, and ordered after us. After arriving home, we realised that they never gave us the sushi that we ordered and payed for.
