Burger King Byls Bridge (Drive-Thru) — Restaurant in Gauteng

Service is poor, low standards, drive thru treats you like they are doing you a favor and you are actually annoying them. When you order from the intercom then drive thru, they don't even say a word or confirm your order they just hand over the machine to tap the card. Collection window was closed and there was no one there for almost 3 minutes, then a lady appeared not in a pleasant mood just handed me my food, drinks with ice, returned them as I didn't want ice, she changed her face walked away and disappeared for another minute before returning to hand me my drink.

I never like reporting bad service cause I never want to see our brothers and sisters out of employment but this happens all the time when I go to this place and I am tired of being treated like this. Today's visit was at 19:50pm. I will only visit ever again if I'm deadly hungry but would rather go to Jean Ave or Lifestyle. This treatment is painful considering everything that we are all going through as a country and people....

Such a phenomenal Burger King. We have been there 3 time when traveling to Johannesburg from Irene, and every time we visit this branch, we are never disappointed and always pleasantly surprised. We visited the store on Sunday 7 August 2022. Lucy (the teller) was amazing, took our order with a smile, upsold us to get a meal with a dessert and even offered a friendly chat, since they weren’t full. All the other staff were just as friendly and always had smiles on their faces when interacting with customers. The food was really good and presented well with fresh ingredients (we had the Whopper meal). The bar one king fusion was soooo yummy, with the right amount of ice cream and bar one sauce. Thank you Burger King Byls Bridge, you have gained devoted customers, and even though we are from Joburg, we will travel to visit your store as the Joburg branches have A LOT to learn from you guys about service, quality product and pride in one’s job and workplace! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service. I ordered a whooper with Extra pickles, struggled with the lady who was doing the orders first, couldn’t hear her and she was very distracted. Got to the window to pay and had to wait again as she was not paying attention, very unfriendly. Proceeded to the collection window of Drive thru only to be told to go park, even though there was no one else inside the store and they didn’t seem very busy, waited another 10min for our food only to find out that even after having double checked that the extra pickles would be added, I not only didn’t get extra pickles, they removed ALL the pickles…but added cheese. This is a horrible store and this is not the first time we have had issues with incorrect food missing items and bad service. Management really should do something...
