Jenny and I selected Fishmongers to celebrate her birthday. We arrived almost on time to find that the reservation we hade made with Shaun the previous day was not recorded. Hence the one star reduction, if the place had been at capacity we would not have been seated, not a good way to celebrate. Jenny had Sashimi and Prawn Nacional which she enjoyed thoroughly. I had chicken livers with extra heat and fillet rare. Both were tasty and good however whether Bheki, our server, or the kitchen got it wrong I ordered chips with the steak but got rice.

Read moreWe ate here last night on the recommendation of family members and were blown away by the quality of the food. All four meals were exceptional - the fish was soft and extremely tasty and there were no bones to be found. We ate the Pangasius, one with a lemon butter sauce and one with a blue cheese sauce and cashews, the Norwegian Salmon, and the Prawn Masala.
