Firstly apologies for the not so great pictures, but after being stuck in traffic for more than 2 hours thanks to the rain and traffic I just wanted to heat my food and eat since it got cold and I was starving.

On my way, I had called and placed my order. I was told they didn't have Lamb curry but were busy making a fresh batch. I was more than willing to wait that extra time for fresh curry. So we ordered 2 Lamb and 1 Chicken Curry and Roti, and one portion of Soji. The food was done on time, and I managed to make my way out of the storm.

Can honestly agree this is definitely proper Durban styled curry. I can only imagine the taste when eating it when served fresh or in a Bunny. Loved the flavour of the curry, the gravy and the potatoes. The soji wasn't bad either. A little bit mushy but it still tasted nice.

I have had a lot of bunnies in jhb but I strongly believe this is the best bunny in JHB. The curry is spicy which is just what I look for. The bread soaked in well and didnt fall apart like some bunnies and was served with a generous portion of salad. The customer service part is lacking a bit as I waited 30 min for my take away order. The owner said that he is currently working with one other person due to the risks involved with COVID which I can appreciate. Perhaps the best way for customers would be to order in advance and then pick up. The meat pieces were mostly bones in my serving which was a bit disappointing but the curry made up for it. I rated it down due to the last two points that could easily be fixed.

Hi All. Deva hats out to u my brother. This is the first time in my 22 years in JOZZIE, I got the right bunny just like Durbs, if not, better. The lamb bunny was absolutely tender as I asked. I never saw better tasting meat piece anywhere in jozzie.
