ELSA ETHIOPIAN RESTAURANT CC — Restaurant in Gauteng

I had the pleasure of visiting this place and got served by a very kind gentleman who served me a lamb shank a few months ago. I had no issues then because the food was delicious. Last week I had an unsavory experience generally because of the atmosphere unleashed by a lady who is probably the owner or such. I asked the waiter to assist me with the menu so that I can decide what to order in future. The gentleman was very good also but the lady standing in front kept on giving me funny and suspicious looks from time to time. This Ethiopian lady has brown hair with tints of very light brown/orange. The last think she did was to arrange for some traditional stuff to be burnt and put right on the table where I was sitting. She did not care. I hated what she did and I will never go there if she is there. If indeed she is the owner, she certainly possesses zero people skills. I was disappointed and I ended up leaving because I do not know whether she was chasing me away with the candle or stuff that she was burning and then directly ordered that it be placed on my table without asking me, a customer. She did not put this concoction on any other table but mine. The stuff has a strong smell and if her attitude and looks were fine, I would have just decided to grin and bear and secretly decide whether I could handle the heat. Unfortunately this experience is informed by what I suffered at the hands of the lady who I found on the day in question. The gentlemen I found there on the day and before were super good but this review is based on the exoerience I had last week.
