On arrival at Hooters @ the Buzz, we stood around awkwardly awaiting assistance, being that the place was Barely active we thought there would at least be someone to help us to our booked table of 15. We headed to the bar for help, we finally got to our table.
A waitress came round and asked how many we were. We said 15... well that was the beginning of the end! āUrg, not again!ā Sighed the waitress. āYour group better not keep asking me for things like the last group!ā She said. Can I just say that I was surprised to find out she didnāt want us there and we hadnāt even ordered anything yet. Isnāt it that the bigger the group the bigger the tip?
When our group all arrived it took a year to order drinks and then another two to order food. We actually ordered food from another waitress as ours just vanished and this one wasnāt much brighter, She was just short of mortified that she had to take our food order. Anyway, in the end, our table was full of glasses and empty cans. The music was off for 30 after a birthday song (we had to ask them to turn it back on) and the food was average.
Thanks Hooters but no thanks. I have had bad experiences before. But never felt so unwelcome to...

The salt shaker had rice bits in it I wasnāt sure why. When I finally found her she brought the bill and I had to request a speed point which didnāt work and she made me pack all the food together and still wanted a me to tip herš¤£š¤£š¤£ I tapped my card for exact...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely disgusted with the way we were treated at Hooters Fourways by a waitress named Thandeka. Customer service was horrible, first they messed up our bill implying that it was our fault (false advertising), eventually the manager came with Thandeka and gave us a new bill. We waited a while before deciding to zapper pay because Thandeka was no where to be found, showed the manager our payment receipt and proceeded to walk to our car. Thandeka out of no where ran after us shouting if we paid or not which was such an embarrassment. After we spoke to her explaining that we had paid she stormed back to the other waitresses and threw a tantrum thinking we did not see. I went back into the restaurant to inform the manager, as I walked in she was still throwing a tantrum with the other waitresses and the manager. The manager apologized to us and said the matter will be dealt with, I WANT TO KNOW HOW THE MATTER WILL BE DEALT WITH ASAP! I have never experienced such appalling...
