This has to be the biggest rip off ever. R110 FOR 4 Tiny peices of Mutton on bone... more bones than meat, a small quater potatoe and gravy with two small roti and dessert spoon of carrot salad and teaspoon of pickel. What a F...ing joke. Then the Chicken curry with rice. A pile of rice, two half potatoes and 4 small peices of chicken on the bone for R95. Again more bones than chicken. So dissapointed. The only good thing was the flavour and taste. This is the worst value for money ever. The Proud Peacock should not be proud of this. We wont be back and we will tell everyone we know not to...

We believe it is a family establishment that's what makes it feel so homely. The service was wonderful, they checked in with us a few times to see if we needed anything and valued feedback. We had the chicken and mutton bunny chows, the food was devine and certainly will be going back. The bunny was perfectly soaked. The environment was also relaxing and perfect for a quick in and out meal. The personal touch of everyone chipping in certainly is the essence of family of which is valuable and what makes them so different....

Ordering via WhatsApp was super easy. The chicken bunny and mutton curry was perfectly spiced with just the right amount of heat. No excessive oils show the recipe is bang on.
