KFC Jewel City — Restaurant in Gauteng

Staff made me uncomfortable. A lady took my phone and rated she shop on google maps without my consent or asking me if it was okay, all she said was "can i borrow your phone?" She first spoke in a language i did not speak then proceeded to say that in english when i informed her. I thought she was gonna show me a new benefits thing or something, instead without my consent, she posted a good review about the kfc on google maps which i did not consent to. And at that point i did not even get my food yet so to not only violate my ability to make a choice and to also rate as my own right she used my phone for something i didnt consent to. And even then did it before i got my food? Thats a literal violation of common ethics and consent. I wouldve been fine if she did the review only on their personal page but hijacking my google maps account is another thing. On top of the fact while youre ordering they will hover around and not give you space to order in peace, its uncomfortable and invasive, like give your customers breathing room, we will call when we need you. Everytime i selected something she approached with a comment, when i went back and removed it, she went back to staring at my screen from a short distance, like ma'am i will call when i need you. Ngl i couldnt even find the thing i was looking for and rushed to order fast so that i could get it, i felt so uncomfortable, at that point why dont you stare at me while i put in my card pin? Better yet take my card too since im not allowed some personal space to order?

I deleted the review the woman planted using my phone and rewrote this one.

The food was good though,not recommending the chips though, but after this stunt im never going back there again, i felt violated of my basic human and customer rights and uncomfortable after she did all that.

Every review thats short and lacks any good description (specifically the good reviews) are all either A.I, spam same worded reviews faked by staff using customer's phones or the staff members faked them themselves using family and their own accounts to get more customers. They cant write long reviews cuz theyre aware customers would pull their phones away so they write short reviews so while youre shocked their busy violating your right to review on your own. Do not believe these short reviews that compliment without specifications, humans only do that when rushing or not really interested but...

Philisiwe acted like I should know how a krusher is made when I came to complain about it not being the usual. It seemed like the guy who made it was in training and instead of her giving him positive criticism she told him in front of everyone that the refund money will be removed from his pay which was so unprofessional. I waited 20 minutes for a an all star box. And the service was very poor and the staff was so dismissive when i went to ask for my order 10 minutes from waiting. The was also a proposal that happened there and once the couple left the staff were making snarky comments on the proposal in front of customers who were also waiting for their orders.
