I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent visit.
Firstly, the wait time was incredibly long, which was frustrating enough, but it was made worse by the fact that the order was incorrect, the food was cold, and the beverages did not meet the standards as per our request. This level of service is completely unacceptable.
Additionally, our waiter, Simpiwe, did not meet basic expectations. While we understand the pressures of the job, it was evident that he was not in a position to provide the service required. A waiter who is unable to meet the standards of their role should perhaps reconsider coming to work that day. Accountability is key in customer service, and unfortunately, Simpiwe did not take responsibility for his mistakes. As a result, he left us feeling extremely dissatisfied, and this is why we will not be returning to your establishment.
The situation was further aggravated when Simpiwe called his manager, Joseph. However, I am doubtful he actually contacted a manager, as Joseph did not offer an apology or any solution to rectify the situation. As a business owner myself, I would expect far better from a manager in this role. The lack of basic courtesy and accountability displayed by both Simpiwe and Joseph was truly disappointing.
We also encountered issues with the bill, and Joseph’s response was less than professional. The failure to acknowledge or apologize for the inconvenience caused only compounded our frustration.
I sincerely hope that you take this feedback seriously, as this experience has made it clear that improvements are urgently needed in both customer service and staff accountability.

We went to have Christmas lunch and was so excited as this is an exclusive restaurant. We ordered starters, grilled calamari and chicken wings, and some drinks, 2 of these drinks were *tails. I love long island ice- tea because I only need 1 of them to make me tipsy and my husband had a whiskey *tail. Sad to say his *tails came in a normal sized whiskey glass and not the *tail glass as the waiter advised. My long island ice- tea could have well been a soft drink as I could not taste any alcohol. The starters, oh my word, 4 steamed chicken wings and less than a handful of calamari, not easy on the eye and almost nothing for the price. Main course, we had 3 prawn pastas, the prawns were ok, but the pasta itself was tasteless, I had to add so much salt to my food for it to have some taste. The waiter was so busy that we could have easily walked out without paying. Tried to flag down another waiter and he just looked our way and carried on with his business. So disappointing for their ridiculously expensive menu. No toothpicks or sweets just very nice serviettes and take- away bags and straws, that was the best part of my experience....

Our hostess, Nwabisa, was incredibly welcoming and ensured that we were well taken care of throughout our visit. Her exceptional service set the tone for a fantastic dining experience.
But what truly stole the show was the food absolutely delicious, Each dish was expertly prepared, and the flavors were incredibly rich and authentic. I was impressed.
To top it all off, the prices were extremely reasonable, making LaParada an excellent value for the quality and quantity of food served.
Overall, I highly recommend LaParada to anyone seeking a fantastic Mediterranean dining experience. Five stars, without a doubt! Nwabisa and the team at LaParada truly know how to make their guests feel welcome...
