I come to this Spur all the time because I live and work closeby to this Spur. Today my sister and I got a waiter that clearly didn't want us here. It seemed like he was conflicted on whether or not to help us. I always treat the waiters with the highest levels of respect and decency. Im always smiling, no matter how my day has been, and I always ensure they get a GREAT tip at the end. Today I don't know what this waiter's problem was but hand on heart, I cannot provide a rating that would suggest top notch service. To say the least, I am disappointed and ever so slightly offended. The +-20% tip this waiter got was a courtesy from my side and not a reflection of the quality of service he provided or rather, lack thereof. The managers were friendly, and it's like they knew this waiter was going to be like this to us, but why would I get a waiter like this? I wasn't going to cause a fuss and I wasn't going to complain to the managers, because that is not who I am. Who I am, is someone who will not return to a place that treats my sister and I like second class citizens. I'm disappointed. Truly, I am. This man forgot my water, he forgot the desert, he didn't give me chance to finish my sentence and wondered off, he didn't give me an opportunity to even state that I want to use some of my Spur vouchers that have been piling up and then a manager came to take payment and him just wondering off again? I'm not even angry, I'm simply disappointed. If he has personal issues with me for some reason(which there should be none), or problems at home or problems at work, he needs to please work on those in his own time like everyone else. We all have problems but we don't treat people differently because of it. We fake it. I didn't come here to have a terrible time or to deal with something like this. You won't hear from me again, allow me to give you that guarantee. Its something like this that makes me go elsewhere. Super...
Read moreI want to take a moment to recognize Tina for the exceptional service she provides every time my family and I visit Spur. From the moment we walk in, she treats us with warmth, professionalism, and genuine respect. She always ensures that we feel welcome and comfortable, making every dining experience enjoyable.
What truly sets Tina apart is how attentive and thoughtful she is. She remembers our usual orders off by heart, making the experience even more special. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated and consistent in delivering top-tier service. She always goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect, and she does it with a smile.
I must say, I don’t appreciate it when other waitrons try to take over our table when Tina is available. Tina has earned our trust through her hard work, attention to detail, and the way she treats us like family. Going forward, we will only want to be served by her, and we hope the restaurant understands how valuable she is to loyal customers like us.
Spur is lucky to have Tina on their team—she is...
Read moreWhat a terrible way to end my 4 year old's birthday. Terrible service. Our waitress barely said hi to us and left us at the table. Cane back after a while and took my children's order and that was that. Our drinks took forever to arrive and so did the meals. My kid's meals arrived with mine and they were stone cold. The manager changed my meal, after a very long time trying to look out for the waitress, she didn't even take down my meal as she was nowhere to be seen. Someone else also cleared our table. Someone else took my kid's order for ice cream. I didn't even organise for them to sing for my daughter cause no-one paid us any attention. When the kid's were done with their ice cream I still couldn't see her and had to go to the till to read out what I ordered in order for them to print out my slip. Had i not asked the waitress her name i wasn't even going to know who served me.
What an unpleasant experience.
I really do hope that this was just a once off. I'd hate to think that that's the service people aren't ashamed to...
