From arrival, the hotel taxi driver was very disrespectful. First he parked on drop off side, so we opted to park on pick up. He then came out and started shouting at us without even greeting us telling us we parked wrong. When we indicated that the reason we parked there is because he blocked the drop off side, he did not even apologize. ||The afternoon shift receptionist was also full of attitude. We asked for the fridge as it was very hot on that day, she refused and told us that she can't promise us since the standard rooms don't come with fridges. Funny, other standard rooms had fridges. After we requested that they cancel our stay so that we can go to other hotels of the same rating with better service she brought it.||We asked for the mere plate/dish and they refused saying if we did not order food from them, they are not allowed. We have been to lot of hotels and this was the first time we hear the hotel refusing to just borrow us the plates. It's not like we were going to leave with those plates.||Then in the morning, on a breakfast that lacks variety, the employees there were just folding hands while we are battling to find things around. We walked back and forth and no one came to assist. Again please bench mark with other hotels to see how they treat theyr clients. Very disappointing and ruined stay at Premier Hotel Midrand... I will never book here even on my...

Was treated very badly at this hotel by the bar manager, I paid for the room in advance for one night's stay. I ordered room service like usual when I say at hotels. The food was brought up tonmy room and I proceeded to enjoy my meal. A about 20min later i got a call from the bar informing me that I never paid for my food. I said I would pay it in the morning when I check out. As usual. The person on the other end of the phone started shouting at me telling me that I had to pay the bill of R120 right now!!! Otherwise he would take it out of the waitress tips!!! I told him I don't pay the bill the company I work for will settle the amount in the morning...I also told him didn't have any money on me until the morning. He point blank refused to accept this and told me I must go downstairs and give him my car keys and cellphone to keep until I paid. I refused and told him I would make a plan for the money. He phone me every 15min for 2 hours demanding the money. I had to get my boss to transfer there money at 8PM in the evening just to get this guy to stop harassing me and so that he wouldn't punish the poor waitress by taking the money from her salary. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and if u do go here take your own refreshments so that you don't have to order anything...

Good location for someone located in Midrand for work and some of the staff is kind, particularly the restaurant staff. However, I am not impressed with their service we are a group booked for the week. On the first day of returning from work, one of our beds weren't made, towels not replaced, glasses and cups not replaced with clean ones. we went to report this, they said they would fix it and we went to have supper and it still wasn't made, we had to go to reception 3 times and there was no accountability from them just made it look like we had the sign the wrong way round. They were finally done at 8pm.

One of our rooms bathrooms were not entirely clean, shower glasses and bathroom counter tops had stains, glasses and cups not changed yet evidently dirty.

We were also booked with their transport which is free if you're within 10km, but such an inconvenience. We are out of work by 4PM and we have to wait fetched at 5PM with no apology whatsoever just a nonsensical story about how we are closer therefore it's sensible to go fetch people that are further!

Chefs complain about the amount of times you want yet they offer a BUFFET, claiming that they have a portion size for customers and if you have a problem take it with the...

I attended a two-day workshop at Premier Hotel Midrand. My first impressions were positive; however, I found the facilities to be just average. We occasionally experienced technical issues, and while the tea, coffee, and lunch were acceptable, they were nothing exceptional. The general layout of the hotel is impressive, reminiscent of a time when it was at its peak. However, despite being listed as a four-star hotel, I can confidently say that it falls short of that standard. I would rate it 3/5. If it were classified as a three-star hotel, I would have given it 4/5, and if it were a two-star hotel, a 5/5. The establishment lacks the refinement and attention to detail typically associated with premium hotels. In the end, it’s a hotel caught between past glory and present mediocrity.

The hotel is nice clean and well equipped. the desk staff are friendly and check in/out was smooth. The area is a bit of a pain for traffic but then so is most of Midrand, be ware of taxis in the morning if you take backroads towards Mall of Africa. The scanning of id in and out is probably a necessary evil but I would have appreciated a tag or otp or something so they dont need to do it every time once Ive checked in. Once inside seemed safe enough. Car was left alone. Room inside has nice furnishings. the dstv decoder bright blue led made a light behind the tv which can be disturbing, they should tape it over. All and all not bad at all.

The venue is very nice when entering. the rooms are comfortable maybe a shower instead of a bath may help. The conference venue is very well equipped. It is located conveniently. The access to halaal needs to be improved. seems to be a R1k for halaal breakfast and very expensive to by water or a can of cold drink. The room is priced well. Use your lock or do not disturb sign very literary as house keeping does enter often. There was no mini fridge but didn't make a difference to me. The amount of towel available to replace first time seem to be limited. place seems safe and they allow uber to deliver.
