Had suggestions about trying out Mythos Greek Restaurant, and after a long time, we dropped in on the Irene Village Mall branch. We were not disappointed. Located in a picturesque corner, metres away from the main entrance arch, with the colourful roundabout and the water fountain, Mythos is sure to become one of our favourite dining venues. It boasts tastefully decorated interior bar and dining areas, Waitron, Nonhla almost instantly took our drinks ordee. We weew treated to witness a birthday celebration, and Waiter Frank explained about the plate- breaking tradition when celebrating special occasions, and of course an on-the-house treat of a pineapple filled with yogurt, accompanied by celebratory music over the in-house sound system. We ordered Strawberry daiquiri, and were really chuffed with it... now the best we have had anywhere. Notwithstanding the fact that we had opted for their weekday lunch offer, we were served a very generous portion of melt-in-your mouth Grilled Hake with great tasting chips, and 1/2 Baby Chicken that was seasoned and grilled to perfection, again with a super generous portion of potato chips. A great lunch at a very affordable price. Nonhla was also helpful with an environmentally friendly "doggie" bag to take our leftovers home. It was a lovely afternoon, with superb service, and an awesome lunch at Mythos...

We loved the look of the resturant. Service was great. A little bit pricey but worth the expierence. Been there, dined there, got the bill. We googled the place before hand and shaw that they had set menu's, but when we got there they said the set menu's are only for party's of 10 or more, the internet didn't say that part, maybe add that. A little bit confusion, we thought because the water was on the table it would be complemantery, it wasn't. We took the meat platter for 2 and that the chips would be a side included in the price it wasn't. Our fault we should of asked first. And the fact that they don't have a non alcholic drinks, juice list or hot beverages just at the back of the menu a little annoying. The seafood section of our platter was delicious, the meat on the other side was a bit dry and salty, but still eadiable. We thought the meat platter wouldn't be enough so we ordered starters as well. We were so wrong. Overall if you want to try something different out of your normal dinning expierence, make Mythos part of your places to eat. All expierences and tastes may...

Food was good unfortunately let down by quite bad service... I was shown to a table that not been attended to from the last diners there with an empty glass and bottle of water as well as napkins missing which were never replaced. I did check and there were plenty of other empty tables I could've been shown to. When I ordered my food I requested a side salad. The waitress did not even bother to confirm if that was instead of chips, thus my order arrived without. Lastly, I ordered beers which were brought in an unopened bottle which the waitress did not even offer to open and pour which I've found to be the norm in even the most basic of chain restaurants. The managers seemed to be wondering around but not really paying attention to the details. Avoid being seated next to the kitchen or bar as the traffic and noise from the waiting staff will certainly put a dent in your...

We opted for the sharing meat platter and added the crispy pork chops to the meal. My partner doesn't eat seafood or the chicken livers, so the platter was split and served separately. The food was edible but not a wow factor.. salt and seasoning is an important key to Greek cooking, and this was lacking... the chicken skewers were dry and tasteless. The mini pita breads were definitely reheated from frozen as they got rubbery as soon as it started getting cold. Additional pita is overpriced. The calamari could have been done with seasoning and dressed with lemon and olive oil and a sprinkle of origanum. The prawns were well cooked and delicious even though I had to season it at the table. The dips were ok. All in all, an ok experience and has nothing to rave about.. I hope that this is not the regular serving..

It was lovely coming back to what I refer to as one of my favorite places. On such a cold day and wet day, we walked in to a warm environment both temperature and feel...the anesthetics are on point from the cobblestone wall decor to the blue tinted glasses. I was looking for pork belly as out standard market was closed due to cold and the pork gyro? Was so yummy and worth it...tsatsiki always brings things together well but the pork was fabulously prepared and satisfied my direct craving. Kudos to the service team from receiving us well at the door and working together to make sure our delicious food was served timeously. Will always come back again and again.
