Nando's Columbine Square — Restaurant in Gauteng

Haven't been to Nandos Columbine for quite a while now and now I know why.... ordered the chicken with extra sauce it had minimal sauce to say the least and was dry and rubbery ... the pita too was literally half filled with about 3 pieces of chicken that I could see and pretty tasteless... the 1st half of the pita I ate was just doughy emptiness and was really awful ... when we complained nothing was done but were just told that's how it's made... and realistically the staff couldn't care less... definitely won't be returning any time soon, if ever... would rather drive all the way to Nandos Cresta where food is always good and pita is of a totally different standard to Columbine where we were merely shrugged off and told this is how it's meant to be....utter awfulness if...

I decided to eat at nandos after a long time this was two days ago. Myself and my wife went to the columbine one as it was close. I ordered a burger and peri chips and she ordered wedges as her side dish, however when my meal arrived the chips had a very off putting smell as if they were fried in some different oil or there was something wrong with the spice the smell and taste was so bad that I asked to change my chips for wedges thinking it was the chips that were bad they changed it for freshly made wedges and as soon as it came back to my table that smell hit me again. I had to leave it aside. It smelled old and chemical if I could describe it and no it was definitely not sunflower oil. I wonder if anyone else...

Disappointed after being forced to visit this nandos because my regular one had no water. To get home and open my chicken avo and halloumi bowl, and see a dry half bed of rice a few slithers of chicken, 1 piece of onion, tiny pieces of avo and 1 piece of halloumi that was split in half.... so little for R93 I'd say a huge rip off. Big contrast to my normal Nandos serving that I get atleast 1 to 2 times a week so I know how it's supposed to taste and look. Feel very ripped off. Our quarter chicken also had barely any sauce and was dry....
